The Loft is an apartment over the garage that gives you a private space for yourself, friends, and/or your family. The separate entrance is accessed through the garage. There is a queen bed in the bedroom, a couch/futon that folds down & a single mattress in the living room.

Le logement
**DISCLAIMER: The entrance into the commode area is not standard. It is only 1 foot 4 inches (42 cm) wide by 6 feet (183 cm) tall. The ceilings in the apartment are vaulted, and along the outer walls start at 6 feet tall. All door heights are 6 feet tall.**
The apartment over the garage was originally an unfinished work/hobby room. It was then remodeled into an apartment. During the school year, BYU-Idaho students live there. During the summer it is available.

The "Log House" was built in 1976 by Mark & his Dad. It is older and needs updating, which we will get to later. At the moment we are in the process of establishing an edible forest garden on the 6 acres. We are a working farm with animals, fruit/shade trees & an annual garden. We are a great fit for families, travelers wanting to enjoy the farm or the quiet of a country setting. We are 3 miles from BYUI (Rexburg), 1.5 hours from Jackson Hole (Grand Teton Ntnl Park), & Yellowstone Ntnl Park.

We purchased the home & property where Mark was raised and started a small homestead with goats, chickens & turkeys. We have since expanded our vision to creating an "edible forest garden" on the property. That entails hundreds of plants to be germinated, sown, cultivated, transplanted and established on the property as well as caring for the animals. We have a goal to be a self-sustaining homestead and we enjoy sharing what we have learned on our journey.

Durant votre séjour
Since this is a working farm/homestead, we are in and out of the house as the chores dictate. You are welcome to knock on the door if you have questions, concerns, or if you just want to chat. You are free to roam the property and enjoy the animals & plants or you can join us as we do our chores. We love to share and talk about what we are doing.
