Règlement intérieur
Ce logement n'est pas adapté aux enfants (de 2 à 12 ans), est non-fumeur et l'hôte n'autorise pas les fêtes.
The Nest is a private one room cabin with a screened in porch. There is a queen bed with all bedding, pillows and comforter. Relax by the river or take out a kayak and paddle upstream to the rapids. After a BBQ dinner, enjoy smores at the large campfire pit. Meander the trails throughout the property and just be. Everything is here for a simple but soul restoring getaway.

Le logement
The cabin has a screened in porch with a loveseat. Firepit is located directly across from the cabin. The river is on the south side of the cabin with lots of room to sit and watch the world float by. There's cleared space around the cabin but then there are trails branching off for you to walk the property. There are trails, open spaces, tiny beaches to kayak to and all surrounded by a mature forest.

Accès des voyageurs
There is 3,000 feet of the Irondale River and 38 acres for you to explore on the trails on the property. Your cabin is completely private in the woods and on the river. There's lots of room for dogs to run free. However, no cats allowed.

Autres points à prendre en note
If you're not a Rogers or Fido customer, your cell service will be spotty on the property but you can always hop onto to my wifi.

From November 15/20 to April 10/21, there will not be running water to the cabin but there will be heat and hydro. Biodegradable paper plates and cutlery and other items will be provided. Full water containers for drinking, cooking and washing are also provided.

Dogs are welcomed. No cats.

My profile picture is from my trip to New Zealand and I am rappelling 300 feet into a cave. One of my favourite trips. I've traveled some part of every continent except Antarctica, but I love Ontario cottage country and have had the good luck to settle in Irondale after living in TO for 30 years while working in the TV/film industry. I believe that being in nature is one of the best ways to heal the soul and recharge the body, which is why I've opened up my property and cabins. I really enjoy meeting new people from around the world and hearing their stories. I learn so much and there's nothing better than seeing the smiles on people's faces when they arrive here and watch the stress leave their body. For me, it's my way of giving back. To share the natural beauty I'm surrounded in.

Durant votre séjour
I might see you in the driveway and welcome you then, but I do come down to the cabin after you arrive to make sure that you have everything you need and to answer any questions you might have, give you tips on the area and show where the different trails go. Other than that, you won't see me unless you need me.
