Location, location, location! This historic carriage house is an incredible find for discriminating solo travelers, friends or families to conveniently access the best parts of Cincinnati and Northern Ky! From this rare, quiet, brick paved dead-end street in the heart of Covington you can walk to both Mainstrasse Village (Main st.) and Madison Ave. restaurants, bars and shops. With views of downtown Cincinnati, it is immediately across the river from all stadiums and riverfront activities.

Le logement
You'll have the entire downstairs unit of this historic house to yourself. It's been completely updated and renovated with exposed original rafters. You have your own private back covered patio with propane grill, retro outdoor dining area and comfortable hammock chair--all with a view of downtown Cincinnati. Key-less entry, WiFi, and Smart TV. Coffee, tea, and Biscoff cookies. And...off street PARKING! One spot behind the home is dedicated to guests. Primary queen bed has allergen inhibiting bedding. We also have plenty of items to make stays easier for babies and toddlers, including a few small toys, kid friendly eating ware, pack n play, high chair, and stroller. Please let us know if you will need these items so we can have them out ready for you. Potty trained pets are allowed, however a short walk will be needed to access pottying areas.

Accès des voyageurs
Within the unit guests can access all the rooms photographed and the downstairs back patio area. There is one locked room to which there is no access. There is a second unit upstairs that has permanent residents however they have separate entry, deck and parking so there are no shared spaces.

Autres points à prendre en note
Pet owners: there is no immediate grass area around the house, so you'll need to take pets on a short walk to relieve themselves. Please keep pets off sofa, bed and rug or additional cleaning fees will be assessed.

Parents of babies and small children: we do have additional amenities for babies and toddlers. Please let us know if you are interested in using these items so we can ensure they are accessible to you.

The fireplace pictured in the bedroom is inoperable. Please do not try to start a fire in it.

NO SMOKING of any kind, including vaping, is allowed inside the premise. Outside on the patio is fine.

This is a historic carriage house that originally belonged to the larger manor two doors to the east of the house. It was originally owned by a doctor, and this was the home for the caretakers for the horses and stables. The home directly to the east was built for the doctor's son. The street on which it sits still maintains the original brick cobblestone paving from when these homes were first built in the late 1800s. It's a safe, quiet street. There are pedestrians walking by from time to time. Mainstrasse village, the historic German downtown, is only two blocks away, with Goebel park and it's storytelling clock-tower only an 8 min. walk away.

We love to travel and meet new people, so hosting gives us a way to bring that experience to us when we're just at home. Juan is from Spain, and Rachel the US. We have 2 great kids, 2 dogs, 7 chickens, and about 60,000 bees on our urban homestead. We try to practice a simple, slower pace of life and love sharing our environment with anyone who wants to have a glimpse.
