Never met Hua-Ching face to face but one of the employees was there to meet me at the property on arrival, and Hua-Ching was helpful enough to give me details on how to get there from the airport if I needed them. The room is largely as depicted in the photos. The bed was comfortable enough, no complaints there. The unit at the foot of the bed has a rail to hang clothes but no hangers, you might want to nip up along Xinglong Road to one of the convenience stores if you're planning a long stay. There are two washing machines in the flat, but no tumble dryers, however on the balcony you have a rail to hang clothes on which you can adjust the height on. During the summer I found clothes would dry naturally outside in only a couple of hours. The TV is a nice addition if you will make use of it, and the mini-fridge is good if you want to keep some drinks in the flat. Air-conditioning unit worked fine. Two separate cubicles each housing a shower and toilet, along with two sinks. I think it's perfectly reasonable for the number of people sharing access, and I never encountered any situation where I had to wait a long time to get ready in the morning. The shared areas were kept in a decently clean condition. There are a pair of electrical outlets next to the head of the bed, a pair on the wall underneath the tablet and the ones you can see beneath the TV, so you shouldn't have any problems if you're needing to plug in a few devices at the same time. The wifi was stable and reliable as well so no real worries there. The area is perhaps not as central as some might like, but the area is well served with pretty much any and all amenities you could want or need, and also generally at prices below that of someone more central. Within five minutes of the flat there is a wide variety of food available, both local cuisine and international (several Italian restaurants, a German restaurant, Thai, Japanese and many more). I found it a really nice area to stay in and a good balance between the high prices of the city centre and the relative isolation if you stay too far outside of Taipei in certain directions. Would especially recommend this option if you are looking for a medium to long term stay, but I'm sure it would also be fine for a few days. No complaints, satisfied with my experience and the service.
Quiet neighborhood near the Wanfang Station. More of a hostel / dormitory situation than anything. No face-to-face meeting with Hua-Ching but the building manager Danny was there. Very secure entrance system with three doors to get through. No trouble from housemates. Washers in unit; no dryers. Toilet/shower in the same stall. One sink for one side of the house.
