My wife and I live in an extended medieval cottage in the village of Ruardean in the Forest of Dean. It is a beautiful home in a beautiful part of England and we are very much looking forward to sharing it with the world!
Cheltenham and the Cotswolds are less than an hour's drive away, whilst the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley offer fantastic walking and cycling opportunities on the doorstep. There is a good selection of pubs serving home-cooked food within walking or easy driving distance.
We have two double rooms on the top floor of our home that share a clean and modern bathroom. This listing is for anyone looking to book what we call the Red Room.
The house itself is a five bedroom cottage with a great kitchen which you are more than welcome to use for your breakfast. We will provide tea, coffee, toast, jams and cereals in the morning free of charge. If you are interested in a local cooked breakfast prepared by my wife, please let us know and we will provide it for a small extra charge.
We can be a little hard to get to (the isolation is part of the fun!) but we provide parking for those arriving by car, which is the easiest way of getting to us. We can also pick up from Gloucester train station for an extra £25. Please ask if you would like to arrange this.
