Recently renovated mini-suite in the Historic Corktown neighborhood. A short walk from the Michigan Ave strip and Slow's BBQ, The Sugar House, Gold Cash Gold, Brooklyn Street Local, PJ's Lager House, and many more. 5-minute walk from downtown.
This garden-level studio gets plenty of natural light through the west-facing bay windows. Comfortable full-sized bed sleeps two. We also have a very comfy twin-sized aerobed available for a third guest. The space also includes a private full bathroom and a kitchenette.

We tend to keep pretty busy, but we are happy to make ourselves available and share our knowledge of the city (just let us know!). Jon is an experienced bike-tour guide and urban planner, and Marissa is a local food expert.
Our washer and dryer is located in a utility room adjacent to the studio, so if you're staying with us for a longer period of time, we may need to occasionally pass through to do laundry.
Please respect our neighbors and keep the peace after dark.

I live with my wonderful wife, Marissa, in the beautiful historic Corktown neighborhood of Detroit. We love adventuring (in urban, rural, and natural settings alike), cycling, plant-based cooking, and sharing stories with other interesting and open-minded folks. I work as an urban planner and Marissa is a realtor, and we are both working hard to help rebuild the city that we call home. Interested in moving to Detroit? We'd love to talk to you!
