The house is very light filled with all rooms having views of town and lake.Completely renovated i leave it to past guests to describe... "warm and inviting",having ''a fabulous location'',''a gem of a house'',''great place, great energy, great value'',"elegantly zen'',"most comfortable beds and quality linens on our trip".,"Fabulous location",:"great music systems"."peaceful and private"..Although just a short one block walk from the main downtown Baker St and three blocks from morning coffee at the famous Oso Negro, two blocks form The All Seasons and Bibo restaurants, the house is very quiet ,and lends itself to relaxing after a day at the slopes or in the mountains. The open light filled living room has lots of room to lay out your yoga mat or dance to the excellent sound system..
Guest have a three bedroom house in which to sleep well thanks to the brand new memory foam mattresses ,get creative in the kitchen that with its concrete and stainless counters and fully appointed appliances,,Cuisinart pots and pans,Henkel knives,Espresso machine,Blender ,Weber BBQ,,etc (the owner love to cook and entertain!!).They can enjoy their meals on the small deck off the kitchen or in the vegetable and flower garden .The upstairs bathroom has cast iron tub and shower, while downstairs is a small "powder''room .Laundry room is downstairs, and there is a private parking spot in front of the house.
I always strive to meet and greet my guests to welcome them into "their' new home, and answer any questions they might have about the Kootenays and Nelsons attractions.
The house is a short walk from all of Nelsons attractions, making a car unnecessary .Really a "downtown" home base, but because the street ends in a steep one way ,also very quiet .
There is bus service three blocks away on Baker St and a private parking spot in front of the house. With ample space for bicycle and ski storage.
Pets are usually welcome and can be discussed.Outdoor smoking only .
