This upstairs room in our historic, 1873 Italianate brick farmhouse is beckoning for guests to come and enjoy it's charm. This room has two 3/4 beds. The fully restored home features 13' ceilings and original hardwood floors on a rural 4.75 acres.

Le logement

This upstairs large room has two 3/4 beds and shares a bathroom with the Queen’s Chamber. The 3/4 antique beds are not quite a full size bed but bigger than a twin at 45 inches wide and only 6 foot long. Both beds have a memory foam mattress. A couple could share a bed, but be mindful of their smaller size. This room has windows facing south and west. The bathroom is down the hall and has a claw foot tub and a claw foot shower to relax and renew. Please note that the Queen's Chamber will not be rented, unless by you, during your stay so you will have a private bath.

Breakfast can be prepared for an additional $10 per person depending on the hosts' schedule. Please inquire.

Renting both the Queen's Chamber and Kids' Room by the same group can be done for a discounted rate of $120+tax per night for both rooms.

Accès des voyageurs

In addition to the bedroom, within the house guests will have access to the dining room, and screened-in porch. Kitchen use is limited to dishes and some fridge space for storage. Cooking a meal is available for a $50 per meal plus tax fee. Outside the grounds are available for use. Laundry is available upon request.

Lovely historic home & down-to-earth hosts. We enjoyed our stay very much. My husband & I stayed in the guest suite downstairs with our goldendoodle. Loved the shower. Our teenagers stayed in the kids' room upstairs. Super comfy beds & a huge bathroom with claw foot tub & shower. Family heirlooms throughout the house, rabbits, chickens, turkeys & 2 basset hounds outside. Both Holly & Isaac were interesting & friendly. Isaac made us a wonderful breakfast in the morning before we departed for Turkey Run. A very nice, memorable stay.

The home was exactly what we seen online. We enojoyed the feel and decor of the home. Very nice and clean. We apprecitated the use of the refrigerator and TV room. Isaac was always willing to accommodating and answer questions. Loved the country feel of the location of the house.

Nestled in an idyllic country setting, this captivating destination provides a quiet night's sleep in a relaxing setting. The old federal style house provides a sense of indulgent luxury with ceilings so high that the owners could actually create a mezzanine level. The oversized bathroom contains an antique claw foot tub and a modernized turn-of-the century shower. The surrounding grounds are filled with majestic full grown trees and contain plenty of room to roam, with the accompaniment of free range chickens. The hosts are friendly and engaging but in no way imposing or overbearing. If you are looking for a Downtown Abby environment, minus the impetuous service of personal attendants, this place offers a place for sumptuous imagination and peaceful rest. Oh, by the way, the solid wood floors and beautifully restored period furniture is spotlessly clean with nary a sighting of dust.

We had a fantastic experience staying at The Queen & I!! This was our first AirBNB experience and will definitely be our choice when staying away from home...bc it feels like home! The Hooks have a fabulous home and were very friendly! The area of the home we were in was very spacious and worked well with having a 9 month old with us! If we were in the area again we would definitely stay here again!!! Easy access to Crawfordsville! We were recommended to try Blondies Diner on Market St in Crawfordsville for breakfast and it was great!! Thank you Isaac and Holly for opening your home up to us!!

The Queen, Holly, and I live in a beautiful historic home. We love to entertain and are excited to open our home up. We have three lovely bassets hounds that are spoiled rotten. We love traveling and enjoying the outdoors with them. For us, everyday is a holiday!
