We will provide you with a code for door access before you arrive. We don't give it out ahead of your stay so that no one but your party can access the house. Phone service has improved but still be prepared for spotty service.

Low Water Crossings: Don't come with anxiety of flooding. The creeks that prevent driving can rise and recede within hours, so relax and DON'T DRIVE while flooding. The cabin was not affected by the historical flood of 2015 and there was a way out of the neighborhood at all times. Look at a map of the area and familiarize yourself with Wayside Dr, which circles back to River Rd, before and after the Campfire neighborhood. This gives you 2 ways to get to the cabin. The river and creeks make the area beautiful, but don't drive on low water crossings when flooding!
Children under 6 are not to be without close supervision, as there are wooden stairs and open loft, as well as a raised deck in back. Neighbors will be watching the house and cleaning is close by. Smoking allowed outside. Treat our house with respect and enjoy yourselves. Don't bring your dog if you don't plan tohave them accompany you on your trip to town...
We enjoy getting away and chilling on the river. Looking at property in the Hill Country, biking, kayak, or Market Days and discovering treasure, visiting the local music and eateries... or just hanging at the house, cooking a great meal with a glass of wine and relaxing on the deck watching the sunset and the stars come into play.
