This is an 17 year old house built & designed by the owner & sited on 30 private acres on a lake. It is a large open plan with concrete radiant heated floors downstairs and maple up. One side of the house is glass and double height.
This is an 17 year old house built by the owners sited on 30 acres near an old stone sheep herding wall, now comfortably broken in. It's very cozy but open, with radiant heat and one wall of windows (inspired by the Charles and Ray Eames House) looking out towards the lake and hills. The land is beautiful in all seasons. Our 30 acres of woods is on a private road with 3 other properties, one of which is a horse farm.
I have four children (now ages 17 to 7), two boys and two girls, so we have a variety of toys and books.
Downstairs is an open plan with several living areas and a separate 600 square foot kitchen with a Viking range, dining area and bathroom. There is a queen size pull-out couch, a double/single fold out couch, and another that is the size of a twin mattress.
Two bedrooms and a bathroom are upstairs. Both bedrooms have panoramic views of the lake and land. There are two sets of twin bunk beds in one bedroom and a queen bed in the other.
Our 30 acres are private but we share our 20 acre lake with 3 other properties and local fauna, which is abundant and includes deer, turkeys, chipmunks, beaver, turtles, lizards and a variety of birds.

I'm a regular emailer & texter. Once the guest is officially a guest, I'll share my cell for texting and calling. Otherwise, you're on your own. If you need someone there, the caretaker is readily available.
1. There is a Roku Streaming Player for watching Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Hulu, or anything on your laptop, on the flatscreen TV. The trees grew too tall for satellite cable apparently.
2. The kitchen faucet is sensor. The top sensor turns it on & off with a wave of your hand. The one under the faucet turns it on & off automatically so you can wash your hands, etc. If you walk away, it will turn off. Or you can turn it off by waving your hand above it and using that sensor.
3. The largest burner on the stove (front left) has a broken starter. You'll need to use the clicker/lighter that's in the drawer next to it to light it. Please make sure it is turned off when not in use! Sorry for this inconvenience.
Most of the furniture in the house is antique and needs to be treated gently (not the couches or beds). The white fiberglass chairs are vintage and cost a fortune to replace, so please don't lean back on them!
