FYI, I communicate through my land line (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) as well as email.
Kindly keep fans and lights off in all rooms when not in that room since we have ridiculously hign electric rates here in Hawaii and I want to keep my rates as low as they are! Night lights are provided in each room to conserve and in case people do not liike the dark.
I kindly request people to put their compost in the compost containers under the sink and when full, empty in big compost bin under banana trees between my 2 houses up front near the lavendar bougainvillia arch.
The 2 large trash cans for garbage are downstairs next to the lanai. Tuesdays the rubbage removal service is performed.
Guests have use of a coin operated washing machine and dryer on the 2nd floor lanai in Rolling Waves, the cream colored house, so when shopping, remember laundry soap, etc.
For the least expensive food, I recommend shopping in Hilo as it has Safeway, KTA, Sack n Save and Cost u Less (great for bulk.) For health food stores; Abundant Life and Island Naturals. The best deals are at Cost u Less and local farmers markets which are in Pahoa and Makuu Market on Sunday. There are farmers markets in Hilo on Saturday and Wedesday. Keaau also has a health food store and a Food Land and a daily outdoor market that is great and interesting and fun. It has restaurants, fresh produce, used shaby chic furniture stores, etc. Pahoa has a very expensive health food store, another Island Naturals and a Malama Market as well and lots of great restaurants including fresh fish at Pahoa Fish in the Malama market mall next to Subway.
Please treat my home very (URL HIDDEN) is a very special place that deserves respect and to be kept clean, loved, respected and cared for.

We also have the ability to rent both floors of the duplex upon request. This enables large groups to come , approx. 12-14 people can then be together under the same roof!
Thank you and Aloha, Arya
Vacation land is one of Puna's treasures being tranquil, green, and peaceful. Close to Lava Tree state park, Hot ponds, Tide Pools, Wet lava Cave, Uncle Roberts, and Kahena Black Sand Beach.
This home is newly renovated. We open up our home to those who can respect the quality of home we provide for your vacation. Please hang your wet beach towels outdoors, no sand inside please. Shoes off, Hawaiian style! Please keep your kitchen clean, don't leave food out as that will attract bugs that we don't want inside our home. Clean your dishes, clean pots and pans. Put your suitcases on the luggage racks and not on the beds. If you have children, make sure they don't scratch the floors and don't destroy our home. We've seen on other homes children have damaged properties. Smoking outside only and throw your butts away in trash not on the ground! We have an outdoor trashcan, we do recycle and fruits and perishables etc. can go out into the banana beds for compost.

After the 2nd house is finished I will be listing both homes on the market as I plan on living in Asia at this time in my life. While away in Asia, I hire whomever I feel will do the best job to manage my properties!
