The Grand Mesa is beautiful! Stay a few nights in an adorable log cabin. There are a total of 9 cabins for rent. Cabins 1,4,&5 have been updated recently, & cabins 3,6,7,8,9,&10 are an older cozy style! If the calendar shows full, contact us!
We are across from two lakes, beautiful scenery, hiking trails, XC skiing, atv-ing, snowmobiling, canoeing, mtn biking, and great fishing! We rent boats, stand up paddle boards, snow shoes, and snowmobiles. There's something for everyone!
The cabin has a kitchen with all the cooking essentials you should need for your mountain getaway. There is a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, bowls, cups, mugs, and more. Just bring your own groceries and a chef! The bathroom has a shower, sink, and toilet. Compact, but efficient for a log home.

Each cabin has its own fire ring outside, but you are more than welcome to use the community fire pit. Around the larger fire pit are hammocks to enjoy the view looking out over Deep Ward Lake. We also have a community pavilion that you are more than welcome to use as well. There are charcoal grills here and extra picnic tables. We rent boats and bicycles here as well. Take a cruise out on the lake in a canoe, row boat, stand up paddle board, or the hydrobike!

Jeff & I live here on the premises, so we will be around if you need anything at all. Advice on hikes, directions, extra towels, we are here for you.
The weather can change quickly on top of the Mesa. You may want to make sure to bring with you extra clothing, rain jackets, and bug spray. During the winter months, the road is plowed right to our property, so there is no need to worry about four wheel drive, but having good snow tires is always recommended for safety.
Keep in mind that there will be snow on the ground from November through May and sometimes into the beginning of June. We are at 10,200' in elevation.
When leaving your cabin, please make sure to do all your dishes.
Also, please turn your heater off in the summer (if you turned it on) or turn the heater to low in the winter.
We ask that you help out by taking your trash to the dumpster.
Don't worry about sheets or towels, we will come in and strip the beds. If you didn't use any towels, just make sure they are hanging where you found them. That way we can cut down on laundry.
For those bringing pets, please make sure to pick up after them and dispose of it in the dumpster.
All of our cabins are non smoking cabins. If you do smoke outside, please make sure to dispose of butts in the trash.
