Our cabin provides everything you need for families w/babies/toddlers to teenagers in a quiet neighborhood w/back yard. We are 5 miles from the slopes and 6 miles to Big Bear Village. Short drive to hiking trails and zoo, walk to Big Bear Museum.
From our cabin everything is quickly accessible without being in the center of tourism. Our neighborhood is quiet with friendly neighbors who live in Big Bear. The small local market and the local shops will make you feel like home away from home.
Our cabin fits 6 adults comfortably, two kids, plus a toddler in the crib and a small child on the futon in the room next to the master bedroom. We also provide a co-sleeper for babies.
Our cabin is great for little ones. All electric outlets that are unused are plugged for safety. There are toddler gates for the stairs or rooms you don't want your toddler to get to. Bathroom and kitchen under sink cabinets are child proofed. The bathroom has a built in toddler seat and we provide a stepping stool for little ones to reach the sink. There are also two kid high chairs in the dining room. We also have books, a box of coloring pens and crayons as well as paper and scissor for entertainment.
The bathroom has toilet paper, soap and shampoo, as well as a first aid kit. The bathroom cabinet also has baby aspirin, muscle cream, peroxide, and rubbing alcohol. We also provide bath towels and hand towels.
The kitchen is fully stocked! It has everything from coffee, tea, sugar, and spices. There is olive oil, balsamic vinegar, condiments in the fridge, and dishtowels and dishwashing soap. The cabinets are filled with dishes, mugs, glasses, pots and pans, backing sheets and pizza stone, crock pots, and lots of mixing and serving bowls. We have a regular coffee machine as well as a french coffee press. Tea pot, blender, and even a bullet mixer are there for our guests to use. There is nothing you will need to bring except your food.
The dining room is filled with toys, games, puzzles and card games. We even have one acoustic guitar for the musician who wants to jam.
We have an iHome to dock your phones and bluetooth speakers to use in any of the rooms.
The back yard is gated and it has some outdoor toys.
Books are in almost every room.
