Main floor is recently renovated with hardwood floors, granite countertops, and three crystal chandeliers. There is one bathroom on the main level (2-piece) and two bathrooms on the upper level (3-piece and 4-piece).
The skylight and high ceilings give this home a very bright, spacious and open ambiance: 9-foot high ceilings in the kitchen/living/dining/family rooms, 12-foot high ceiling in the front foyer and 15-foot high vaulted cathedral ceiling in the master bedroom. The central staircase is open entirely to the skylight which is about 34 feet high from the main floor. This skylight floods all three levels with lots of light all day.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony and prepare meals using the outdoor natural gas barbecue. The kitchen has upgraded appliances, cabinets, pantry and kitchen island with pull-outs and pot drawers, clean stainless steel fridge, gas stove, built-in microwave, built-in dishwasher, washer/dryer on bedroom level, California privacy window shutters throughout, central vacuum, central air conditioning, upgraded chandeliers and pot lights, upgraded closets with automatic light sensors and closet organizers. Property is almost maintenance free – includes property maintenance such as snow removal/sanding/salting on the common access roads, visitor parking spots, private driveway and front steps; lawn cutting; exterior window washing; eves trough cleaning; flower planting; and upkeep of the parkette and flower beds in the inner townhouse courtyard.
The entire townhome was recently renovated except for the master bedroom. In the spirit of full disclosure, it's in pretty good shape although there are a few scuff marks and some nail holes from previous pictures. But, other than that, still in great shape.

You will have access to the three-level townhome, plus the outdoor patio with chairs and a barbecue. No backyard access, but there is a small courtyard outside in front of the townhome, with some benches and flowers... it's a great spot for relaxing outdoors or taking wedding photos.
I tend to leave behind some food in the fridge and cupboards (e.g., tea, coffee, staples, etc.), so feel free to help yourself to anything in the house, including some bottles of my home-made red wine in the living room. Also, in the high cabinet pantry in the kitchen, there are lots of bathroom and kitchen supplies you can help yourself to. You will find stuff there such as extra soap bars, wine bottle openers, thermos's for day trips, water jugs, etc.

Several trendy restaurants and cafes nearby such as Santos, Tutto Bene, The Octagon, Terra, Symposium, Royal Orchard Thai, Citro, Café Chic, Steve’s, Eggsmart, Pizza Pizza, Starbucks, Coffee Time and Tim Hortons. This home location is considered to be “Very Walkable” as there are “27 restaurants within a 15 minute walk”.
Parks, Conservation Areas, Rivers and Walking Trails
This home is located in the Vaughan Heritage Conservation District and right across the street from the Thornhill Heritage Conservation District which includes several riverside walking trails around the East Don River and Old Historical Thornhill Village. There are several parks nearby such as Riverside Park, Pioneer Park, Cricklewood Park, Thornhill Park, MacDonald House and Garden, Oakbank Pond Park, Royal Orchard Park, and Pomona Mills Park (in order of proximity, all within walking distance).
Golf, Tennis, Curling and Snow Skiing right in the Neighbourhood!
This home is actually walking distance to five private and public golf courses! It is surrounded by the Thornhill Golf and Country Club with 18-hole and 9-hole golf courses, tennis courts, curling and upscale dining. Across the street, on the east side of Yonge Street is the Ladies' Golf Club of Toronto which has golfing for both men and women. It also has 18-hole and 9-hole golf courses, upscale dining and ongoing social events (e.g., wine tasting club, barbecues, lobster fest, high tea, etc.). These two private golf clubs offer annual trial memberships. A two minute drive around the corner is the Uplands Golf and Ski Club which is public. It has a 9-hole golf course, cross country skiing and downhill skiing with five ski runs, plus ski equipment rentals. These golf clubs offer golf clinics, lessons, and tournaments. The nearby Thornhill Park Tennis Club offers tennis leagues, lessons, tournaments, and youth summer camps.
Several highly rated schools nearby including elementary, secondary, college, university, public, private, gifted, Montessori, Catholic, Jewish and French immersion schools. Schools nearby include Baythorne Elementary School for the Arts, Yip’s Music and Montessori School, Yorkhill Elementary French Immersion School, Seneca College, and York University. Most schools are walking distance and do not require a school bus.
Be respectful of the neighbours... no noisy parties. No smoking in the house. No loitering in front of the townhouse, please use the patio at the back of the townhouse instead.
Check in time is 3pm, and checkout time is 11am, although I'm happy to be flexible to help you out if I can (at no charge), depending upon when the previous/next tenant is leaving/arriving. (I just need to make sure I have enough time to do all the laundry and cleaning required.)
