This is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Porto, with narrow stone stairs and streets climbing the hill. Centuries ago, there was a jewish quarter which, until the present day, give names to some streets.
The house faces a beautiful patio where you can see children playing and the neighbours in their normal life. Across the street is the old customs house, nowadays home of 3 museums and a congress venue.
This is a very traditional neighbourhood, full or genuine life and local people.

I'm a professional photographer and Director of Photography, always traveling around the world. I recently moved to another city and I decided to rent my own private house, so others can enjoy this beautiful building and neighbourhood. Our guests can read some of my books, relax at the chillout and meet the famous ivy that gives name to the house. I love to meet people from different countries and cultures, so I'll be happy to receive new guests.
