Grace Cottage is a charming three bedroom turn of the century timber house with 10' ceilings. It has a separate Lounge room and Dining room. With easterly views of the Gold Coast, particularly enjoyable to watch the lights of the Gold Coast at night from the enclosed Verandah. Situated only 3 minutes from Tamborine Mountain's famous Gallery Walk, Rainforest walks and a selection of sumptuous restaurants. Browse through the local farmers market, every Sunday from 7am at the Show Grounds and return to make yourself a gourmet meal in the large fully equipped kitchen. It is only a short 10-15 min drive down the mountain to Theme Parks.
With old world charm and modern conveniences, this charming house is only minutes away from the best Tamborine Mountain has to offer. It is only about a 15 mins if you have tickets for Dream World, Movie World and Wet and Wild.
I will meet you when you arrive to show you through the house and if necessary be back to say goodbye, before you leave. The rest of your visit you will enjoy without me.
A peaceful and tranquil location with plenty of native bird life.
I suggest you bring your own car or book a hire car as Tamborine Mountain (approximately 8km long x 4km wide with an elevation is 525m) has many attractions, either on top of the Mountain or on its sides.

Visit the stunning 27 acre Botanic Gardens. This is within walking distance of Grace Cottage. Only 1.3km along a moderately flat road. Covering 11 glorious hectares, the Gardens consist of exotic species and the natural rainforest of Tamborine Mountain. Over 25 years, dedicated volunteers have developed this property into the highly-photographic boutique Gardens that they are today.

I will meet you when you arrive to show you through the house and will be contactable 24/7 if you need me. The rest of your visit you will enjoy without me. If I am away and unable to meet you to show you through I will advise you of the alternative arrangement.
If you need phone access, please bring your mobile phone. If you need Internet access, please bring your portable wifi. If you need peace and quiet, you've come to the right place. Telstra seems to have the best coverage unlike Vodaphone and Optus.
Grace Cottage is a no smoking property.
Peace and quiet
It is a quiet residential area and is not suitable for parties, so I would kindly ask you keep noise to a minimum and not allow children to scream.
Please treat my furnishings with care, use coasters provided for drinks, especially hot ones. Do not let children jump on the furniture or the beds.
The dining table and buffet are marble topped so try not to spill vinegar or red wine on them as this will eat into and stain the marble. If an accident happens please clean it straight away. There are table cloths provided and place mats. The dining chairs have white upholstery so please put towels on them for children to sit on. Coloured towels in the cupboard next to the fridge can be used for this.
The house only has access to rain water, so please use water sparingly (sorry, no 20 minute showers) It uses a sceptic tank, so please do not flush any foreign objects down the toilet. There is a waste paper bin in the toilet for items.
Please do not ask or bring your dog (or any pet). I'm sorry but unfortunately I have had a few guests who requested to do so in the past and I accommodated them only to be let down by accidents and damage to my property.
If you do have an accident of some sort, don't stress, I understand that life happens but please just let me know so I can tend to it as soon as possible.
The soil at Tamborine mountain is red and it stains. If someone accidentally gets red mud on the carpet use white vinegar to remove and then plain water to rinse off. Just let me know what's happened.
The front verandah has clear blinds so please feel free to raise them when you like. However you will need to lower them before going to bed or if it looks like rain! Ensure when you lower them that they are fully lowered otherwise the veranda will flood if it rains.
The back patio has a pull out shade awning, please feel free to use it but as with the clears, this needs to be rolled away at night or before any rain or it will collect water and break.
Wood Burning Fire and Candles
Take extra care with candles and extinguish when leaving the room. Timber is supplied for the fire. Please don't throw fire ash on the garden. Either wait for it to cool and place in outside bin or leave it in the fire and I will remove it after you have gone.
If you need to use the washing machine use the Bosch on the left. The other one is for rags and my dogs towels.
If you have any questions or can't find anything I am always available by phone, text or email, please feel free to contact me or my representative.
