We also have a very comfortable sofa bed available on the mezzanine floor of the Mill room priced at £50 a night including breakfast, and again you would share the facilities with others in your party. Autres points à prendre en note
We are in a rain-shadow area. However always helpful to bring waterproofs and warm clothes since at 750 feet it's a degree or two colder than at sea level!
Bring binoculars for birdlife and to view the night skies. A torch is necessary to guide you back from the local pub!
We can provide a drying area for wet clothes and storage for bicycles.

It is very pastoral and quiet here in the hill country of mid-Wales. It feels like stepping back in time to a slower pace of living. However there are towns to explore such as Builth Wells with its Arts Centre and Royal Welsh Showground and the spa town of Landrindod Wells. The cathedral city of Brecon is about 40 mins. away and Hay, the town of books, about 30 mins. via a spectacular drive over high moorland.

I'm Anne and I moved here from Bristol three years ago with my husband Tim as we wanted to live more rurally and focus on conservation. I'm an aspiring naturalist and keen to enhance the biodiversity on the five acres of land we manage here. I also like to explore further afield by walking, cycling and running.

Durant votre séjour
We are very willing to be around during your stay to give you information about the area and advice about where to go or even give a guided walk or cycle ride if you wish. We could supply some laminated maps on request. Fishing licences are available locally. If requested we could provide packed lunches and / or evening meals. Anne makes her own meuseli, bread and marmalade. She is very keen to steward the land in a way which encourages conservation and biodiversity.
