??? They seemed nice.
I would welcome Danielle and her family back, anytime.
With a one night layover, travelling between cities, these guests made no mention of their concerns, or of their room being "too small". They parked nearby for the day, and were out for dinner at one of the nearby cafes, shortly after arriving.
2 other (extra) beds were also available, in common living room (The 4 1/2 apartment is quite large - 2 bedrooms, one of which is owner-occupied by me). There is actually room for 6 people to sleep comfortably in the combined private room, and guest spaces. (4+2) with real beds, not "roughing it". Beds are memory foam (posturepedic), or full mattress.
These guests had no complaints during their visit, and one of the guests chose to stay out of their (private) room to sleep on one of the spare alternate beds - in the living area, and seemed quite comfortable for the evening.
They could have even stayed 2 in the private room, and 2 on each of the other beds, without difficulty. Plenty of room. Not a problem! The guest areas are CLEAN, SECURE and COMFORTABLE.
I even ensured that the group was able to watch the Summer Olympics, on demand, at their convenience, which they did in their room for the balance of the evening. (LiveCast, not Netflix - which is also complimentary, along with WiFi)
There is a spare refrigerator near the entrance, for guests, with space that is available for any groceries or spare items that they wanted to bring. There is also Tea and coffee available on demand (service niche), and eggs and toast are served for guests each morning!
These guests were simply gone in the morning (before 9am?), without checkout, or breakfast. I am disappointed at their apparent discomfort. I was not informed, during their stay.
This is a pleasant, guest room, in a great area, with safe parking, and transit to everywhere you want to go in Montreal. Not the Hilton.
Other guests have stayed here, for several days, with no concerns (see many other ratings and reviews). Judge for yourself.
