This is a great place that I would recommend for anyone wanting a taste of home away from home. Very close to many great places to eat and just hang out. I would recommend the Dog Watch Cafe in Stonehenge. It was absolutely important for me to know the money paid goes towards the upkeep of the overall HHH (Horses Healing Humans) non-profit. They appear to be doing some great stuff for the community!!!

The location is beautiful and quiet. Host was friendly though we didn't cross paths much. I had difficulty reaching the host in advance of my trip and had to make several attempts. The room is decent but I found the bed uncomfortable and noticed a main support was broken. There were missing necessities such as bath soap and the shower gel was completely out. The towels had an odd odor to them. It feels more like staying at a relative's house than a BnB. The coffee bar area in the living room is quite dirty. This is a promising airbnb that has great potential if the accommodations were updated a bit and cleanliness was a higher priority.

Réponse de Lee :
I'm happy to hear it felt like staying at a relative's home- that is exactly the atmosphere we hope to provide, since we are NOT a hotel nor a B and B, but a working farm and non-profit business. The coffee bar is fully cleaned and set up for each morning and used communally by guests, clients, and staff. We expect all to clean up after themselves throughout the day since we do not provide maid service. I did notice one of the bed frame supports had been knocked out of place- that was not the case when the room was vacuumed that morning but can happen when the bed frame or mattress are moved- it is an antique. Sorry about that- it does not affect the support for the bed and we would have been very happy to fix it. Linens and Towels were right out of the dryer- we do use fabric softener and the water is well water, not chlorinated. All communications should be done through AirBnb- phones are OFF or silenced during the work day due to the nature of our work and safety considerations. We provide arrival details on the day before or day of arrival for accuracy as our schedule changes daily.

Hi Cleo and Uli, On our site it says you have the use of the Mini fridge in your room, and the microwave, toaster, and Keurig in the Library so you can bring your favorite breakfast and snack foods for the mornings. Light breakfast of Coffee, tea, and granola are provided as advertised but we stopped serving any full breakfast over a year ago since we could not accommodate everyone's preferences and wasted most of the beautiful food we supplied. We can't compete with the best breakfast place around just a mile away! I have updated the listing to be clearer about this. Thanks for your feedback!

The place is unique. It is in the country with a well maintained lawn and flowers. There are horses. There are other wild animals visiting like a cayote, etc. The room is better than adequate. There is a bed, a desk, a chair, a mini fridge, etc. I love the serenity of this place.
