A fully furnished cozy private room with plenty of sunshine & serenity. A 20 minute walk to the center of Carrboro and a short drive/bus to the UNC campus. Wooden deck with nature views, an aerial silk fabric, spacious openness, and friendly hosts.

Le logement

Located on a quiet street, this is a very cozy home with lots of sunshine and warm vibes. The room has a double-sized bed, plenty of storage space and a crib if you're traveling with a little one. There are two windows that look out into nature. The entire house has wooden floors. The kitchen is fully stocked with a Champion juice, dehydrator, Blendtec blender, KitchenAid mixer, and a fancy ice cream maker. *We will clean the house to the best of our ability but the house is old and well-loved so please don't expect an immaculate place. Also, we aren't renting long-term due to the fact that we have a baby and only one bathroom. You can still check as there may be dates we're out of town.

Accès des voyageurs

The kitchen, living space, outdoor space, and bathroom are all shared with my husband and I. There is a smart TV (Netflix, Hulu Plus, Pandora), as well as a DVD player and countless boardgames. Additionally, guests are free to play on the aerial fabric as long as I am present (unless they have previous experience, then they are free to play as they wish). Tea and instant coffee are available at any time.

Échanges avec les voyageurs

My husband and I are both self-employed so will be around at sporadic times. He works as a maths and physics tutor and I work as an aerial dance teacher. We enjoy socializing, playing games, watching movies, cooking healthy meals and getting to know new people so if you want to hang out with us, that's totally awesome. If you want your own space, that's cool too. You are welcome to store food in the fridge, make a meal, sprawl out on the couch, borrow a bike to head into town, lounge on the back porch, come to an aerial dance class or nap the day away in your room. We are flexible and will be as interactive as you need us to be. We now have a little baby boy who is adorable but does make some noise from time to time (as babies do :-). If you don't like babies, then this isn't the place for you!

Autres remarques

I will provide clean linens (100% cotton), towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Wi-Fi is included and works well.

If baby noise is your concern, please read. The baby is quite and sleeps though the whole night. He wakes up at 7 or 8 in the morning. So don't worry about that, plus he is cute and funny.

Nice stay--host were very friendly. Downstairs neighbor was a bit noisy, but noise problem was resolved when we spoke to them. One bathroom could be problematic, but it wasn't an issue for us.

Jill and her family were warm, comfortable, and welcoming. Our communications were clear and accurate. The location was perfect for the areas I needed to visit. The house, room, and neighborhood were pleasant, safe, and attractive. I would happily stay with this lovely family again and would recommend their home to any travelers.

Jill and her husband are very friendly and welcoming! I ended up staying for three weeks, and they were always available if I needed something. Jill also lend me her bike, which was very useful for me! The house is really nice and close to the bus stop. The room is comfortable and I slept very well. Also, they have a little cute baby and I've never heard him crying from the room!

The house was beautitul and it was 2min walking to a bus stop to downtown Carrboro and Chapel Hill. The hosts were very helpful, answered any questions and offered to give us a ride whenever we needed it. A good atmosphere and a pleasant stay.
