For our short stay in Culver City (2 nights), Kelsie was a welcoming host (plus Kristina & Yogi) as she did a good job of accommodating to our schedule. Days prior to arrival, our flight status was changed and we contacted her to revise the check in & out times. She was very understanding and worked with us to make sure that we adjusted the times to work for both parties.
Upon arriving at the house, we were greeted by her best friend Kristina & Yogi, as Kelsie would be out of town at the moment. Kristina showed us to our room and also gave us a heads up about what we could do for the day as Yogi was pooped out from the unusually hot weekend weather.
As we had a small chit chat, we told her our plans for the trip and she gave us different travel options. Our intention for the trip was to explore the area, which meant that we were practically out for whole day and night since we also had a reception to attend to the next day.
The house itself definitely had a beach house vibe without the actual beach, which was substituted by a creek. The pictures you see don't hide anything as you get what you pay for: 1 bedroom, shared bath, well furnished house with a nice front yard, airport friendly location all while being close to the beautiful scenic areas like Santa Monica/Venice and more.
The place was perfect for our travel plans as we traveled light and stayed short, with the intention of exploring the city's offerings for most of the day. Even though we did not see Kelsie until the day after, and only briefly interacted with her, we want to thank her for making us feel at home!
