This accomodation has very good sized bedrooms, One large double and two very generous singles. There is a washroom downstairs where we keep the washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen is equipped with all cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils,Dishwasher, Full Oven and 4 burner hob, Microwave, Toaster etc. The Lounge suite is very comfy and views from front and back windows are stunning typical Welsh Mountain Countryside. For the last 2 months the apartment has been occupied by 4 German professionals working on a local utility project. They love it !!

This is a completely self contained quietly located 1st Floor apartment with its own front door, no shared space with other occupants within the privately owned block. Bigger than most new houses built today.

Whist everything will be taken care of on arrival, either myself or a member of my family can be easily contacted if required. We will meet and greet you to familiarise you with everything and answer any questions or queries you may have. The other 3 single occupants in the block are all locals and you will find them quiet, very friendly and helpful.
Bearing in mind this is a semi rural location, the nearest village shop is in the village itself which is a 10 minute walk or a few minutes by car. so prudent use of the freezer and fridge will be necessary and buy from the nearest Sainsburys which is about a 10 minute drive right on Junction 36 of M4.
Because we have residential occupancy in our other flats in the block we expect Guests to have consideration for others by not making excessive noise and refrain from smoking inside the property.
I was born in Bournemouth but have lived in Wales for almost 30 years so I class myself as a local.
I have several rental properties in the Ogmore Valley and have now decided to also rent out my self contained annex of my main residence in Bridgend Town. Primrose Cottage is an ideal country letting it is ideally suited for people who want a quiet break in rural surroundings yet only 20 minutes off the M4 motorway snuggled in amongst the Welsh Mountains. Woods Edge is more connected to mainline town activities along the M4 corridor.
I am a social person and enjoy meeting new people from all walks of life, I like to think I make people at feel at ease in my company and I will do all I can to make sure my guests have an enjoyable stay.
My hobbies are golf, cycling and sailing , I especially look forward to spending more time in the future on my boat cruising Britains Inland Waterways.
I spent 4 years living in Tenerife so my Spanish is fairly fluent so if any Spanish guests are short on their problem !
