The entire experience with our stay at Scott's was positive from beginning to end. We are frequent travelers to SLC in the winter to ski, and usually stay in Sugarhouse, going to different resorts each day, so the location really worked for us. While we never met, Scott was always quickly responsive to our text inquiries. The house is just as described- really well equipped, very nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. We like to make breakfast and after a full day on the slopes, get carry out for dinner, so having a Whole Foods Market and lots of restaurants nearby was super convenient. We particularly enjoyed the really nice kitchen, dining table and counter, and comfy sofa and chairs to relax. There was plenty of room for the three of us to spread out our gear in the basement. I want to thank Scott for making our trip so easy and comfortable!

Scott's home was a great blessing for us as we traveled to Salt Lake. We have two young kids, so having a home to stay in--as apposed to a hotel--was great! The home itself is terrific. It had everything we needed. Scott was quick to respond when we needed him--an absolutely warm and friendly guy. The neighborhood is a cool historic neighborhood--just up our alley! There were plenty of great places to eat within a short driving distance. This was our first Airbnb experience, and it was a hit! The only thing I would caution about--and this was no big deal to us--but the home has working radiators throughout (so cool!) and they can make rather loud bings as they are expanding and contracting. Like I said, no big deal for us....but if you are a light sleeper, it might be problematic for you. That is the only slight negative--HA! We highly recommend Scott's place for you and your family. I trust it will bless you as it did us!!!!

This was such an awesome place. Scott had everything you needed in the house that you would use in your own home, down to ziplocks in the kitchen. This was my first time going with airbnb and definitely can thank my sister for recommending airbnb. The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. I truly loved it. Scott was so awesome and nice. Helpful for questions that I texted to him. He stopped by to show us a few things, like how to turn on the lights in the tree by the Jacuzzi. We didn't travel very far during this visit, total maybe 250 miles. We were there only to visit my newborn grandson 11 miles away so just going back and forth, while getting my 5 year old grandson overnite a few nights. Being from Hawaii I wasn't used to having a hard time breathing in thin air but other than that I just loved it. Stores and shopping all over close by, even a Japanese restaurant around the corner named Kyoto restaurant although we didn't have time to go there. Things that Scott has in his house is what you would have in your own house down to the nice dinnerware, extra blankets for watching tv on the couch, and an outside gas grill for barbeque. Scott has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathroom, bunkbeds in the basement and a laundry room in the basement. There is internet so I played my games on my ipad. His tv can access Netflix, Hulu but your would need your own account to access it. I even baked cookies with my grandson on the cookie sheets. It was so pretty just standing in the enclosed front porch watching the leaves fall from the tree, and the one day seeing the rain drizzle slowly coming down but it was actually snow. You can tell I am from Hawaii and I don't see things like this. All you would need to bring is bath soap, toothbrush and I would recommend paper goods like paper plates, cups, if you have kids, everything is glassware. This house is WAY better than my house. I definitely would love to stay there again in the future. Thank you Scott, loved it!!!!!

We love this house! The house is well appointed in a neighborhood with parks, coffee shops, good restaurants, a yoga studio, 7/11 store, juice bar, etc., within walking distance (3-4 few blocks). It was clean upon arrival and, I would say, even better than described. It is a charming, small-ish (but not tiny), fully renovated house with hardwood floors and radiant floor heat (our toes never got cold!). It was more spacious than we expected, the bedding was nice, kitchen well-stocked, hot tub was a nice extra. Scott was very responsive in booking and all questions that we had after arriving. I have stayed in a lot of vacation rentals and would recommend this place in a heart beat. We will be back for sure! Thanks, Scott.

Hello, and thanks for visiting my rental profile. I recently moved to the sugarhouse area of Salt Lake City, UT last January after years of traveling throughout the western US for work. I grew up in Park City, just 30 miles east of Salt Lake, and spent my adolescent years ski racing, mountain bike racing and enjoying the Wasatch Mountain Range.
After years of travelling out of state, I longed to return home. I decided to settle in Sugarhouse because of the city life and close proximity to the mountains. I'm still very busy with work and travel, and am rarely home. I hate seeing my house sit empty the majority of the time. I hope you enjoy!
