Our stay at the Hobbit Inn was a long awaited one, and our patience paid off. This peaceful little haven did not disappoint. Thoughtfully laid out, the Hobbit Inn is the perfect balance of simplicity and luxury. Whether you are a Tolkien fan or not, the chance to unplug, unwind and gaze out across the expansive vistas of central Washington is one that is welcomed. And if you are a Tolkien fan (as my girlfriend is) then this little hobbit home will continuously delight for the duration of your stay. Kristie has truly created something special upon this hidden hill. Our recommendations? Have the Hobbit and LotR soundtracks to hand; they are the perfect musical accompaniment for your stay. And why not make a road trip out of your journey? We added on a couple of extra days and travelled along the Cascade Loop. The North Cascades National Park and the Wenatchee National Forest are simply awe inspiring.

If you're a fan, this is a must. Otherwise, the view is worth the hike. Totally loved the stay although one night enough. Don't know if Gandalf's cart would survive the road in or if his old bones could handle the climb so should be warned to pack light

My wife and i were absolutely blown away by our stay at the Tiny House. It was beautifully and accurately represented in the photographs, but to actually be there and experience how lovely it is was so great and even a pleasant surprise. The attention to detail, not just in creating a perfect Hobbit Hole, but in creating a high-end vacation rental was much appreciated. Excellent! We really hope to come back again.

My boyfriend and I absolutely fell in love with this place and are already saving up money to visit in the summer. Everyone was absolutely perfect and we loved how private it was. I am excited for what they have in the future as they plan on building more and I cannot wait to see what that will look like. The idea of a hobbit hole was so creative and Kristie executed it perfectly. They made sure you felt completely immersed and it was lovely. We cannot wait to go back!

Aloha,

I am a proud Idaho woman who is passionate about living simply. I hand built a tiny 97 sq ft home out of sustainable materials several years ago and still live there today. In the winter of 2013 / 2014 I fulfilled a life long dream of building my very own treehouse that now I get to share with ya'll.
