Tucked away at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Tree House welcomes you to Healing Springs. Our Tree House is a "glamping" cabin tucked up in the trees along a babbling brook. The Healing Spring was discovered in 1884, come and drink the water!

Le logement
Our Tree House is a camping cabin perched upon locust tree poles. This rustic retreat was built with reclaimed lumber from an local homestead that was over 100 years old!

It does not have electricity or an en-suite bathroom. It has a plush Queen size bed and comes complete with sheets, pillows, blankets and bath towels. It does have A/C via an external power source and propane heat for the colder months.

The Tree House Cabin is a true "glamping" experience. You have access to an indoor bathhouse located close by that features a sink, shower (hot water!) , and flush toilet. There is a chiminea fire place and Adirondack chairs set at the base of this cabin.

Accès des voyageurs
You have the entire tree house to yourselves.

Autres points à prendre en note
Healing Springs is a special place. Discovered in 1884 and originally called Thompson's Bromine and Arsenic Springs. The property was then known as Healing Springs Resort in later years, and is now simply called The Cabins at Healing Springs.

The natural spring is purported to have mystical healing abilities and rumored to have cured everything from poison ivy to rheumatism, indigestion to ulcers. Today, our cabins are all equipped with a water pitcher so you can enjoy the fresh spring water in your cabin any time during your stay.

Most weekends require a 2 night minimum stay. Check with us if you would like to stay just one night on a weekend as we can frequently accommodate. All major holidays require a 3 night minimum.

Dogs are allowed. Dog fees are weight based. Let us know prior to bringing a dog, please.

Welcome! I have a passion for reviving and restoring old homes. I believe in saving our history, one home at a time. I moved to Wilson, NC from Anchorage, AK in 2010 on a whim, to experience "southern hospitality". After restoring several Victorian homes in Wilson, in 2013, I fell in love with a property in Ashe County, the furthest NW corner of North Carolina. Here, my partner and I purchased a property that is on the National Historic Register of places known as Healing Springs. We have spent the past year restoring our 10 cabins and are thrilled to be able to offer them to guests. Our property is called The Cabins at Healing Springs. We strive to provide cozy and comfortable accommodations with great beds! My style is to leave people to their own thing, but I am happy to chime in with recommendations and suggestions for our wonderful area. I also make handmade natural soaps with water from the Healing Spring. Additionally, I make jams and jellies with local ingredients. I am happy to share my knowledge of soapmaking or crafting of jams & jellies with folks. Anne
