Private access via locked gates with a high Boundary Wall around entire property.

My Partner & I live "part-time" on the 3rd level of the Home, 2 levels above Guests on the Ground level, thus providing genuine privacy for Guests. When we are in the home, note that we have our own private facilities, plus there is a separate, private entrance to the Home for Guests, and with private Guest parking, so there is absolutely NO intrusion on Guests.

The home environment is very private & super relaxed, given the location.

We choose this rental as the photos sold it to us and they don't even show it off to it's true magnificence!
We were keen to get the feeling of being outdoors by the water with the luxury of being indoors!
….we were grateful to have somewhere so amazing and still affordable!

Justin was an amazing host and gave lots of perfect hints and tips along the way and nothing was ever too much to ask.
We borrowed his bikes and spent the four days travelling between Cottesloe/North Fremantle and South Fremantle with ease- it's the perfect city to cycle in and nowhere is more than 15 mins away.

Leighton beach was also the nicest in the area and conveniently only a 5 min walk- Justin also told us about a secluded beach by the river which was perfect!
Food in the local area is outstanding- try Bread in Common in Fremantle and Propeller in North Fremantle which were our favourites (so much so that we went to both for breakfast and dinner!).
Would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone and you can't beat the location.

It is looks unreal. When I saw the ads for this place, I hesitated and was wondering, "this is cannot be real. Is this a scam?”
Now I am writing my first Trip Advisor review. In some cases, it is not you who has chosen the place but the place has chosen you. As an obsessed world traveler, this place is everything I am looking for.

The architecture style of this place is spectacular. The whole house is a designer piece like a grand glass piano. The glass window frames the Perth blue sky and white clouds like a live postcard. You may observe the boats, birds and flowing sky.

Location, Location! I did jogging, cycling and swimming in front of the Home, very private beach and bike track, sometimes you even can see dolphins. 10 mins drive to Hippie Fremantle with the best bars, bookshops in Perth. You also can take bus and train to Yuppie Subiaco and the city. 10 mins walk to a hidden food and café street at Vic Street.

The owner who started this project is a very helpful and multicultural professional, and his dog Indi is adorable.
I don't feel like sharing this, but I will double my happiness to share my experience.

The location in North Fremantle is fantastic. The view from the 2nd floor balcony is nothing short of exceptional. I have more comments later down this review regarding some observations of what makes this accommodation extraordinary. First, some more run-of-the-mill observations. The communication from the owner is excellent. Not just prior to the visit, but, also during the visit as well. He was always willing to give some advice about "what to see / do" while in Perth. Plus, he offered some great restaurant recommendations before arrival -- a nice, personal touch. The kitchen, dining room and living room are excellent -- a full kitchen, big table and comfortable couches. The bedroom layout is slightly odd and may be a consideration depending on who is staying. Think of an "L" shape with the bottom of the "L" being the bathroom and the left ascender of the "L" being the two bedrooms. The bedrooms are side-by-side -- Bedroom A & B. Bedroom A has a door to the bathroom and a door to bedroom B. Bedroom B has a door to the main hallway. The bathroom has two entrances - one through Bedroom A and off the main hallway. What this creates is an odd scenario where the occupant(s) of Bedroom A must either go through Bedroom B or the bathroom to get to the main part of the house. This may get awkward for some if someone is using the bathroom or sleeping in Bedroom B. There is another open room that has a bed, but, this room uses a folding wall and provides little privacy. The bathroom has multiple doors that shut off the toilet room -- that helps. Do be considerate of the makeup of your party -- there is only one bathroom. We had a party of six and it was challenging to share the single bathroom at times. As the owner will advise, there are some areas of the home that are under construction. Nothing got in the way of enjoying the stay, but, until this work is complete, you may see a tarp here, some constructing materials there, etc. There was no active work during our stay -- no noise from construction activities as I suspect that work is only done when the downstairs is vacant. Bear in mind, once this place is no longer under construction, the owner might be able to justifiably increase his price by 50% or more... enjoy this place at a discount! Our stay was in June 2017. The accommodation is in a residential neighborhood -- you need to be considerate of neighbors in terms of both noise and parking. Also, there is a strict "no-guest" policy that the owner is required to enforce. Don't plan on having anyone come into the residence other than those who you have notified the owner are actually staying. The owner will remind you of these "house rules" prior to your arrival. For clarify for future guests, there is absolutely no "construction" going on with the home, in fact all construction of the home was finished over five years ago! Rather, as we advised prior to your arrival there was simply an unfinished external garden area, which in no way genuinely effects the enjoyment of guests during their stay. Like yourself, all of our guests spend their free leisure time up on the balcony enjoying those fabulous views!

This place is magnificent!!! So accessible to Freemantle and the beautiful beaches of Perth with easy access into the Perth CBD. I don't think you can get closer to the Swan River and surrounds. Justin and Jean are gracious and helpful hosts and nothing was too much trouble. They were fantastic with our rather spirited kids and had some great sightseeing ideas and suggestions. The accommodation is comfortable and safe and the view is better than the pictures. We will definitely be back!

Justin's place has an amazing view and is well located. A walkway along the river, several river beaches in walking distance, a kid's playground around the corner, and walking distance to the train into the city. Justin is a very welcoming host, and unobtrusive during the stay. It is a shared house with plenty of separation between the families, so we felt secluded and private. There is plenty of space, and the kids had a great time during the stay. Again, the view and location is fantastic, and although I was kind of on a work trip, the family felt like they had a holiday
