This is a most wonderful bright cottage on farmland yet 300m across fields to the sea. It is very peaceful and tranquil on this small quiet road-cul de sac. It is very remote so ideal for you if you wish to break away and enjoy having animals nearby.
For a cottage this home extraordinarily has 4 bedrooms;2 doubles + a twin available for you all. The sitting room t doubles up as a Yoga studio where I teach occasionally. The kitchen/living room has a lovely stone fireplace. It ia a very bright an airy house. Being very close to nature it does get dusty and can develop cobwebs overnight. The open fireplace is delightful to rest by. Tap water is fresh from the mountain although it is recommended to gather fresh drinking water from a well 300 metres away. If all of this sense of embracing natural living excites you then this is ideal for you.If it is all mod cons you would prefer and a more glossy environment with'push-button' convenience then I would suggest not. It does take a couple of days to settle in and find yourself feeling 'at home. It is an ideal place from which to your Connemara North and South.I do suggest/request a minimum stay of 3 nights.

There are occasions when I will be there at the cottage in which case I Am very discrete and tend to kick back and leave the freedom and run of the cottage to you.If you are interested I can share lots of local experiences and direct or guide you on the most pleasant excursions/treks. When I Am not here the 3 gorgeous dogs on the farm next door will trek with you and guide you by land and sea here.... On booking I will let you know if I will be here;regardless you will have the freedom of the cottage.
Both the sense of being in the wilderness and the sense that the land and sea are being lived here is tremendous. The nearest town (Clifden) is a half hour drive away and is a fun place. The nearest village Cashel is less than 3km away. It has a school, church and pub nestled on the seashore. The Bright Wild cottage itself is best suited to you who are looking for peace, tranquility, nature and fun too :-)
Discretion, Respect ... I ask that you remove your shoes at the door and help to keep the cottage clean and tidy. The dogs live outside.Jiji the ginger cat may come in and will be happy to sit with you in communal spaces. When lights are on at night please close the Windows to keep insects out, naturally.

Heh, I Am Ken. I Am delighted to be involved with Airbnb. It goes along with my lifestyle very well. I tend to spend up to 6 months, even more, away on Yoga retreat each year so it is exciting to know that guests can enjoy this lovely home while I Am not here. A house loves to be lived in. I do run Yoga retreats from home also although when I Am there and I delight to share my enthusiasm for these wild lands and sea with Airbnb guests too. It is a most wonderfilled life here :-) Welcome XXX Ken
