We are on site if needed; your privacy is our priority. However, we are always happy to visit.
We are off the beaten path, 1.5 miles of a graveled old logging road, that has shallow pot-holes, and bumps. Cars need 4 3/4" clearance. Not suitable for cruiser motorcycles. Call if concerned about road condition. We are a half hour from town and a dry alcohol county, so please plan accordingly. Detailed directions need to be sent as GPS AND MAPS ARE WRONG and cell service is spotty.
Since we live here also, please honor quiet time 10 p.m. - 7 a.m.. Leave the guest house as you find it. No pets. Please keep it a smoke-free room by smoking outside only please.
We're Doug and Alice. We retired and moved into our vacation home. Do we miss Illinois? No! It’s the best decision we’ve ever made. This slower paced, small living lifestyle has enriched our lives with great friendships and neighbors. We’ve had great adventures and there’s more just around the corner. We'd love to share it with you. We welcome you to come experience Squally living.
