Our home is in the heart of Santa Fe, NM. Sunny, spacious and welcoming, and just two blocks from the Santa Fe Railyard and five blocks from the Santa Fe Plaza, this home is located in the Historic Guadalupe Neighborhood.
The two-story home is fully furnished and has two bedrooms (one with a king size bed and the other has a queen size bed), a den/study, and two full bathrooms (one upstairs with a tub and one downstairs with a walk-in shower). It has an open concept kitchen/dining/living room area with a wood-burning fireplace. The kitchen has stainless steal appliances, including a gas stove and dishwasher, and is fully equipped for those who enjoy cooking and entertaining.
Additional features include on-site laundry and parking. Located just a few steps from the front door, a secured laundry room houses an eco-friendly washer and dryer that are shared with the other three homes in the Closson Compound. And while it is possible to walk to most places in downtown Santa Fe from this home, there are two designated off-street parking spaces assigned to this home – room to park two cars.
Accès des voyageurs
Visitors will have access to everything except two owners' closets where we hide all our unsightly stuff. ;-)
Our home will accommodate a maximum of four people. Additional guests cannot be accommodated.
Due to the owners' health, this is a non-smoking home and (unfortunately) we do not allow pets.
Our home is part of a compound with three other similar units. Santa Fe is a quiet town and we are very respectful of neighbors regarding late night noise.
Deborah, my partner, and I live in Washington, DC, most of the time, and in Santa Fe, part of the time. We both work for NGOs - one advocates for the LGBT community, and the other works in the areas of education, youth development, arts/culture and refugees and immigrants. We love to travel and enjoy meeting new people. We stay at AirBnB homes when available, and appreciate the hospitality extended to us.
As guests, we always leave the place as we found it. We respect that we are staying in someone's home that they have taken great care to furnish and have chosen to open up to us and other travelers. As hosts, we have created a warm, inviting home in Santa Fe, that we hope our guests will feel comfortable in and enjoy.
