This cute cottage is filled with natural light and heritage character. A short walk from everything, it features water views, a beautiful rambling garden with a huge deck to enjoy it from and relaxed, cosy charm. It's the perfect base for a couple, a group of friends or a family looking to escape, unwind and explore Hobart.
This 1890s cottage has genuine heritage features and personal touches around every corner to make you feel at home. The spacious main bedroom features expansive water and garden views from the bed, while the second bedroom has a lovely pitched roof and a leafy aspect. They both have queen size beds. An additional, very comfortable single inner-spring mattress is available for a fifth guest in the master bedroom if required, but is not usually set up so must be requested in advance. The cosy lounge room features a roaring fire that keeps the whole house warm, and a big flat screen TV with Netflix. NBN wifi is available in every room of the house. There is a separate dining room with a huge library of books and games you are welcome to use during your stay. The kitchen has a gas stove and electric oven and is amply stocked with essentials including a vast selection of spices and condiments, teas, coffee, cook books, and cooking appliances. Open the back door and a spacious garden unfolds, featuring a sunny breakfast bar, a large deck with a BBQ and daybeds under a leafy canopy, a paved area with a large dining table, and a beautiful cottage garden filled with apple, plum, pear, kiwi, lemon, grapefruit and guava plants that you are welcome to graze on when in season. The garden is completely private and provides you with a large, green sanctuary in which to enjoy your breakfast, soak in some sunshine, enjoy a book or recover from your sightseeing.

I only put my house on Air Bnb when I'm not going to be there, which means you have the whole place to yourself. I will always be available via phone, but am currently travelling in the states so am operating on a slightly different time zone.
This is my own home, filled with things that may not be valuable but are very precious to me, so please treat it with the same respect you would your own. I have lovely neighbours who I wish to keep as friends, so no parties or loud music please.
I'm a 32 year old female from Australia who works in festivals and the arts. I love living in Hobart because it offers the best possible compromise between city and country life - a relaxed pace, strong sense of community and stunning natural beauty alongside a world class culture and arts scene, fantastic food and thriving nightlife. But mostly I love living in Hobart because of my lovely little home. It gives me a great deal of joy to share its generous pleasures with guests from all around the world, and give them a personalized glimpse into my home town.
Some of my favourite things include wine, the beach, food, travel, literature, festivals, adventure and a perfectly made aperol spritz.
