We apologize that the ants got into your food that day. The situation required an immediate response, which we provided, and we immediately did everything we could to remedy the situation, the kitchen was cleaned thoroughly and food loss was reimbursed. Because we don’t use chemicals and we only use preventative and reactionary methods, and deal with “uninvited visitors” in an eco friendly way, ants may occasionally show up, especially when guests are not diligent with keeping food wrapped, in closed containers, or keep the screen doors open for too long.
Regarding the comment about the incident with a member of our crew, we apologize for the discomfort this caused. Though we agree this was careless mindless behavior, we do believe that he got a bit carried away in the celebratory festive atmosphere of his birthday on the day that this happened.
