I’m sorry to read your review. The description your provided certainly does not fit our standard.
In 3 years of running as a guest house we have never failed to deliver on what we consider absolutely basic services like towels, soap and comfortable bedding.
We are a very small guesthouse, with usually 2-3 staff on hand at any one time, who strive to provide personal, quality and authentic service. Our housekeeper feesl personally responsible for guests, and keeps in close contact with guests to help with questions and ensure guests have everything they need to be comfortable. Guests also have his phone number, in case this is at night time.
Valerie, I’m sorry that you feel your experience of our service was lacking. Our staff feel very disappointed that they were unable to help you rectify the problem, and our housekeeper is certainly puzzled and disappointed that you did not mention any of these issues in your many conversations with him.
Our manager told me that the Suite was prepared to our usual standards for 3 people (the couple Suite with an extra daybed prepared). However your daughter preferred to move to another daybed from the one we prepared for her. Perhaps the extra bedding was lost? In any case, our housekeeper would have been happy to help.
Its difficult to hear that you shared only one towel for the 3 of you, with showers and dips in the pool over a 2-3 day period. Again, our housekeeper was on hand during the day, as well as other staff so we regret that you did not ask for another towel if you did lack them.
Valerie, again I’m sorry that your stay was let down by your feeling that you were missing basic amenities. Our staff are deeply disappointed you are unhappy. We hope that next time if there is anything at all you are missing that you would tell one of our staff on hand.
