Trees, fields and hills, with quick access to the road to Brecon for walking and climbing, Hay Book Festival and the Royal Welsh Show. Walks from the house, river views, plenty of space for cars and bikes. The lodge is comfortable and pretty. Road can get busy in the summer. Family home, old and characterful but with modern facilities. One double bedroom (second double bedroom sometimes available on request). A lovely garden with an outside table to take in the views. Cooked breakfast. The village is two minutes away with a pub for lunch or dinner and Builth Wells with its shops, pubs, cinema and cafes is only 12 minutes away by car. Hay on Wye is 15 minutes for book shops, cafes and restaurants. Five star hotel just down the road for afternoon tea. Talgarth Mill 20 minutes drive for walks and lunch. Walk from the field at the back of the house. (There are sometimes cattle in the field).

You will be able to use the bedroom and bathroom which has a bath and shower. The garden has a picnic table and there is an outside loo. Outside space for cars and bicycles.

The lodge is set above the A470. It can be busy sometimes but the beautiful surroundings make up for it.
