Musée d'art
“The Musée d'Orsay is a museum in Paris, France, on the Left Bank of the Seine. It is housed in the former Gare d'Orsay, a Beaux-Arts railway station built between 1898 and 1900. The museum holds mainly French art dating from 1848 to 1914, including paintings, sculptures, furniture, and photography. It houses the largest collection of impressionist and post-Impressionist masterpieces in the world, by painters including Monet, Manet, Degas, Renoir, Cézanne, Seurat, Sisley, Gauguin, and Van Gogh. Many of these works were held at the Galerie nationale du Jeu de Paume prior to the museum's opening in 1986. It is one of the largest art museums in Europe. Musée d'Orsay had 3.177 million visitors in 2017. Access by the station "Assemblée Nationale" on the line 12 or the train RER C to the station "Gare Musée d'Orsay"”

Café
$$$
“The Café de Flore became a popular hub of famous writers and philosophers. Georges Bataille, Robert Desnos, Léon-Paul Fargue, Raymond Queneau were all regulars, and so was Pablo Picasso. The classic Art Deco interior of all red seating, mahogany and mirrors has changed little since World War II. The Prix de Flore, a literary prize inaugurated by Frédéric Beigbeder in 1994, is awarded annually at the Café de Flore.”

Place
“As all the royal squares, the Place de la Concorde knew many different names according to the political upheavals. First called Place Louis XV, it will become a symbol of the French Revolution as many people were guillotined there, including King Louis XVI and Queen Marie-Antoinette. This monumental square is one of the finest example of French classicism in the Age of Enlightenment. In the center, the statue of Louis XV was destroyed and replaced by the current obelisk offered by the Viceroy of Egypt in 1832. Located between the Champs-Elysées, the Tuileries Gardens, the Louvre and the Madeleine, Place de la Concorde and its surroundings are among the most beautiful areas of Paris.”

Place
“Place Vendôme was built on the orders of Louis XIV, as a grandiose setting that would embody absolute power in the very heart of Paris. Napoleon replaced the statue of the king, dismantled in 1792, with a bronze column made from 1,200 enemy canons. During the Second Empire, however, the octagonal square – a marvel of classical urban design – gradually became a showcase for luxury goods rather than political power.”
