“This place is worth all of the hype. You can spend a whole day here enjoying the house, gardens, trails, winery and restaurants. We are locals and we go at least once a year. ”

“Biltmore Village, located across from the entrance to Biltmore Estate in Asheville, is home to more than 40 shops and 10 cafes and restaurants. Most businesses are housed in historic cottages and buildings. Tree-lined streets, brick sidewalks and period architecture (including the Cathedral of All Souls) make the area a delight to stroll and explore.”

“Voted Best Bakery in Asheville Area since 2014! That is no small feat with all of the dessert people in this town as you can see from our small list here... Not only a bakery, but a great place for a light bite (to save room for dessert). This one is the second of the cafe's located in Historic Biltmore Village. You can get your shop on just outside the gates of Biltmore Estate. Shop a while, then eat here, then shop some more! (See our guidebook on shopping in Biltmore Village). Menu fresh daily, dessert favorites are Austrian Tea Cakes, Pot de Creme, Swedish Creme, Baklava, Creme Brûlée, Mountain Eclairs, or a legendary Lemon Bar! It gets better...they serve Breakfast treats like Buttermilk Jammers, Muffins, Scones, Croissants, French Toast Casserole, and SO Much More. Hearty Lunch and Brunch includes Quiches (Gluten Free Also), Strata, Breakfast Burritos, or a Breakfast Sandwich! Lunch Sandwich variety changed daily, think chicken salad (curried or regular), vegetarian Caprese, or a hearty Italian sandwich! This place is a NO Brainer! Yum and Yum!”

“Just outside Biltmore Village - outstanding BBQ (sandwiches or platters) with on-site prepared healthy side dishes. My favorites are pulled-pork or turkey platters with squash casserole or mac 'n cheese + mud pie or nana pudding!”

“Great spot for excellent wine, appetizers and bistro food. It's not got the mad tourist feel of some area restaurants, and you can enjoy talking and relaxing. Charming place for visitors and locals.”

Lieu historique
“It has MILES of hiking/walking trails, creeks running through it, a lake all in addition to its gorgeous formal and informal gardens. It has two buildings with rest rooms, one has a café (simply menu of good sandwich/salad choices). These structures have gallery exhibits - unique and well done, always changing. Take a bicycle there and ride the bike trails. Plan a whole day there.”

“Iconic and scenic road with no commercial development. In early fall, drive north to see early leaf changes. In late fall drive south. :-). 5 minutes from your condo. (Its really practically in the back yard but you have to drive around to the road entrance. But, you can hike the parkway of bike it from the house. ”
