Located in a lovely rural farming village in the Staffordshire Moorlands boasting many public footpaths for walkers. Our self contained studio accommodation, is located in the garden area of the property and features a lovely view of our garden. It is perfect for guests seeking a comfortable and private base to enjoy and explore the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands, Peak District & Alton Towers. There are 3 local country pubs serving food (walking distance) Fishing pool & recreation ground.
Montana annex is accessed by a private front entrance door and features open plan studio layout. The fitted kitchen includes, integrated fridge, combination microwave, toaster, kettle, two ring electric hob, kitchen utensils as well as pots & pans, tea and coffee. The separate bathroom includes shower, toilet, vanity basin and heated towel rail, including towels. The bedroom area has a comfortable double bed providing 4 drawer storage in the base. There is also a wall unit with hangers for other clothes and coats. The lounge area includes a television and double sofa bed, with double bedding. There is also an option for a single fold away bed & bedding if that is preferred to the double or a travel cot with full bedding if required. Whatever combination of options are required, we can tailor things to suit your needs for a maximum number of four guests. A window blind and curtain provides complete privacy for guests. Key box/safe entry is available for both self check-in and check-out, allowing flexible arrival time and self check in.
Dilhorne is a historic coal-mining farming village in Staffordshire. The village has excellent public footpaths, recreation ground, fishing pool and church dating back to the Norman Conquest.

    Double bedroom available in a 3 bedroom house to share with the owner and 1 lodger. Share Lounge/dining room, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. Bedroom is fully furnished with a TV, USB sockets, Wardrobe and Chest of Draws. Bedding, linen and towels are provided and are changed weekly for stays of 2 weeks or more.
    The house is clean & tidy and well equipped with all you would expect in a modern house. There is Super Fast Virgin Wifi throughout the house, TV, Comfy Sofas and Dining Table in the lounge. The Kitchen is fully equipped with Fridge Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer and Cooker & Hob. There is plenty of Crockery, Cutlery, Cookwear, Glasses and Utensils for you to use, along with Tea & Coffee and condiments to help your self to.
    The house is conveniently situated in Stoke on a quiet residential street. There is on street parking available. A central location the house is a 10 minute walk to the Town Center which has a Sainsburys and Lidl as the main supermarkets, high street shops and cafe's, takeaways and pubs. there are frequent bus services to the surrounding towns and a regular serviced to the City Centre (Hanley). Hanley is where the main shopping center and high street is. The Regent Theatre, Hanley Bus Station, Etruria business, Leisure and Retail Parks are also located in Hanley. The Royal Stoke Hospital and Newcastle Under Lyme Town Center are a 7 minute drive in the other direction.

  • C'est un endroit charmant, propre et lumineux pour passer du temps. Je travaillais dans la région, donc l'endroit était parfait pour moi, loin de chez moi. Bonnes installations pour cuisiner belle salle de bain / douche; parking sur rue pratique juste devant la porte d'entrée. Le quartier est résidentiel, donc très calme le soir. Beaucoup d'installations à proximité. Et un hôte charmant! Je le recommande vraiment.

  • La maison d'Andy est facile à trouver et est exactement telle qu'elle est décrite et illustrée dans la liste. La seule chose à noter est que les marches sont assez raides, il est donc utile de le noter si vous avez des problèmes de mobilité. Andy est un hôte charmant et il est très facile de s'entendre avec lui bien que, après l'accueil initial, nous étions comme des navires dans la nuit. Je suis resté 5 nuits et j'étais très à l'aise avec la chambre et la maison et rien n'était trop demander pour Andy. Je reviendrai certainement quand le travail me mènera à Stoke plus tard cette année.

    This gem is conveniently situated in a quiet area of Bentilee, Stoke-On-Trent. It lies between Longton and Hanley (main Stoke centre) and it is only 10-12 minutes' drive/bus ride to the main train station, Staffordshire University and Hanley town centre. The nearest bus stop is only about 50m away and there is a Lidl grocery shop only 6 minutes' walk away. FREE parking is available on the street and there's a pub only 150m away that sells good food and a gym nearby.
    The house is luxuriously decorated with newly decorated walls and floors. The space provides high speed BROADBAND and digital TV (Virgin Media). Bathroom has both bath tub and shower separate but in the same room. There is an additional downstairs toilet. The kitchen is beautifully decorated and equipped with a microwave, stove, oven, kettle, self-served breakfast, a washing machine and a dishwasher. The garden is well maintained and can be used by guests. There are garden chairs on the deck to make guests feel more at home.

    Comfortable room in modern house with en suite toilet and shower. The room has a brand new bed and the road is quiet and peaceful ts located near by hartshill park 5 mins walk to shops( tesco , Sainsbury) 10 to 15mins walk to stoke hospital And Staffordshire university
    Good sized Double bed room . Space for car park area. 1 min walking distance to the bus stop and 5 min walk to all shops and walking distance to Newcastle under lyme and Hanley shopping centre.
    The house is on a modern recently built estate. Its very quiet area and the neighbours are very friendly. The road is quiet and peaceful

    Newly refurbished, this two bedroom house offers a peaceful retreat with new furniture and beds throughout. Tea and coffee making facilities are always available on your arrival. You have full access to oven, microwave, induction hob, kettle and toaster. All cooking equipment is available. Extra guests are charged at £15 per person after the first guest. There is room for one car on the drive (not for sporty low cars - due to ramp height) and also on-street parking outside the property is also allowed.     The property has free WiFi,free Netflix and now TV. Short distance to stoke town centre which is a 8 minute walk. Also a 13 Minute walk to stoke train station. The property has a fitted kitchen included a tea and coffee machine and George Forman grill and griddle. Also a small fridge freezer. Close to local bars and new jollies entertainment bar.
    Walking distance to all transport facilities.
    The neighborhood is safe and friendly.

It is less than 5 minutes from the town center and has easy access to all amenities. 2mins to the A500 motorway leading to the A50 or M6.

Proving ideal for those attending one of the many closeby wedding/party venues, working away, visiting Staffordshire attractions or simply needing a rest mid journey. Philosophy: Provide a 'home from home' experience. Double guestroom with a 'Sealy' bed, private bathroom, adj dressing room, kitchen & facilities, conservatory & garden.
    My home welcomes and gives a relaxed feeling the moment you arrive. Private guest room and bathroom with access to the dressing room, kitchen, conservatory and garden. The guest room itself has lush carpet underfoot and high standard of bedding and towels are provided throughout your stay. There is a selection of toiletries and a hairdryer if you forget yours. I have been told the bed aids a peaceful nights sleep. Bottle(s) of water supplied by your bed with free tea/coffee/hot chocolate and fresh milk available in the kitchen. There is a big TV, free fast WIFI, Freeview, bluetooth speaker, chargers and plenty of wardrobe space for your belongings. A dressing room is next to the guest room, with a full length mirror and additional socket points, so you can perfect your look if attending a wedding, party or business meeting. Great access to M6 Junction 14 or 15. If you are driving South to North and vice verca, it's a good mid-point stop to take a break. Plenty to see and do or importantly rest if needed. Stone is very pretty and popular market / canal town with lovely restaurants, bars and pubs. Great live music and traditional ale houses, with some 'very now' gin, craft ales and cocktail bars dotted around the town. Many different restaurant cuisines to choose from. Stunning Trentham Italian Gardens and Lake Estate, Monkey Forest are approx 5 miles down the road. Alton Towers 40 minute drive. Shugborough National Trust Stately Home where Lord Lichfield resided and bucolic Cannock Chase is accessible by car where gorgeous walks and off road cycling is very popular. You might even be lucky enough to see wild deer/stags! Marks and Spencers, Aldi and Morrisons are close by. My home is situated a minute from a lovely peaceful canal walk into Stone and further if you like a decent but pretty countryside walk to Sandon, Weston or Barlaston. Aston Marina is a hop, skip and a jump away! You will most definately see pretty narrowboats and can grab a waterside drink or bite to eat whilst taking in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside. Location is ideal for the many Staffordshire hotspots, to include several wedding venues, amusements parks, the Potteries and pretty Cannock Chase, Shugborough and Trentham Gardens and Estate (see also the 'space' section too. Local/global businesses and training centres are very close by and are proving popular for those working for or attending ABB, GE, Royal Stoke Hospital, Stafford Hospital and Yarnfield Centre. It amazes me how many people stay who are visiting family and friends in the area (I love it)! Great location for the M6 being in the middle of two junctions, 14 and 15 going both North and South. The A50 is accessible which connects you to the M1 and The North. Marks and Spencers, Aldi, Morrisons, Post Office, Pharmacy are close by and a Petrol Station and Shop are at the end of my road. My local pub, The Three Crowns Lichfield Road Stone (thatched roof) serves good food and drink. There are plenty of amazing places to eat or drink in the market / canal town of Stone itself. The room benefits from a panoramic fireplace and electric fire, with TV above. Netflix, terrestrial and Sky channels are available. Kitchen - Newly designed and fitted, the kitchen has lots of cupboard and drawer space, containing everything needed to produce and serve a full meal. Integral appliances include: fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave. The Breakfast station includes a toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine. There is also a spacious dining area complete with an oak table and four leather dining chairs. The Bedroom - A stunning room with a high, beamed ceiling, picture window and roof lights.     Mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, Caverswall is rich in rural charm and history and is a superb location from which to explore Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Cheshire. Set around a village square with its ancient tree and stocks at the centre, the quaint and quirky period properties will soon have you entranced. The village itself benefits from two wonderful pubs, both very different and both providing hot food. The Red House is situated in the village square, which is the social hub of the village. People gather around here for the Carsa Wakes festival during the summer, Halloween celebrations in the Autumn, Egg hunts in the Spring and Christmas carols in the Winter. Look out also for Murder Mystery events at the Red House, provided by our local drama group, Caversmill Players. The Auctioneers Arms is the pride of the village, having been purchased by its residents and run as a community concern. Pop in during the day for a coffee, lunch or a beer and take a look also at their evening menu. Both pubs are within easy walking distance of our property. The Red House takes around three minutes on foot and The Auctioneers Arms, about fifteen. Did we mention that the village has a castle? The village is also home to the historic Anglican church of St Peters and the newer, Roman Catholic edifice, St Filumena's. There is a village shop and Post Office just ten minutes walk from our property and the nearest supermarket is less than a five minute drive away.     The house is newly built so very fresh very neutral still need to put my personality into it. it has private off road parking wifi guest are free to use the facilities, I do provide free tea and coffee. the house is at the end of the grove up a gravel driveway, the house on the right hand side with a parking space just outside the door. It is very quiet, and close to local amenities and shops. Close to Hanley and Stoke on Trent, about a 30 minute drive to alto towers 20 minutes on a good day.
    The house is very modern open plan downstairs, modern kitchen with integrated appliances guests are welcome to use the kitchen anytime. There are shops about a minute walk away, takeaways beauty salons. It takes about 5 minutes to drive into Newcastle, and 10 minutes to drive into Hanley. There are regular buses close by and taxis you can contact. It's about 4 miles from Kiel University you can get a bus there from Newcastle. There are two pubs close by that both serve food and reported to be very reasonable.
    The neighbourhood is very quiet with good access to shops and plenty of places to eat and 2 pubs about a 2 minute walk away. close to Hanley and Stoke on Trent. Close to middleport potteries. Good access by bus to most places. About a 10 minute taxi ride to the hospital

    We are one mile from the canal town of Stone where there are all amenities, supermarkets, independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Marks and Spencers, Aldi and Morrisons are close by. The new Marks and Spencers Food Hall is popular for something quick and easy. There is a Farmers Market on the first Saturday of the month and local community events. including the annual Stone Festival in June and Food Festival in October. Those who enjoy walking can take the canal path to Stone or Aston Marina which has a good restaurant. Trentham Gardens is a popular venue for the Italian Gardens / Lakeside walk, shopping and restaurants. Shugborough National Trust stately home south of Stafford also offers an enjoyable day out right on the doorstep of the beautiful Cannock Chase.

Un accueil très chaleureux nous a été réservé non seulement par Julie et Jean-Paul, mais aussi par Millie, leur chien le plus sympathique et adorable. Du pain fraîchement cuit, du lait et d’autres petites attentions étaient à notre disposition. Et la région - tellement de choses à voir et à explorer. Si belle. Nous espérons revenir dans un avenir pas trop lointain et recommandons vivement ce petit bijou.

Avoir notre propre entrée privée était également un avantage supplémentaire, de même que l'emplacement idéal de la propriété, facilement accessible à pied du centre-ville. Le jardin arrière est un peu en désordre pour le moment, mais Jean-Paul explique qu'il s'agit d'un travail en cours sur leur liste. Nous recommanderions volontiers cet hébergement à d'autres voyageurs.

  • Jean-Paul et Julie sont des hôtes remarquables, Julie m'a accueilli à l'arrivée et était très sympathique et accueillant. L'espace en lui-même est aussi bon sinon meilleur que les images sur Airbnb, très moderne et propre. La cuisine est entièrement équipée ainsi que la salle de bain avec distributeurs de savon, shampoing et revitalisant. Je recommanderai des amis et des collègues à Julie et Jean-Paul.

In a few minutes away by car or bus Intu Potteries shopping center can be a great place to go where can be found a vast range of shops, market on the ground floor, lots of restaurants and also cinemaworld operating in site.

  • Moi et mon fils de 10 ans avons passé un très bon séjour. Les lits étaient très confortables, ce qui signifiait que mon deuxième jour à Stoke était super, car mon fils dormait bien. Moi aussi. De belles touches de chocolat et de boissons. M'a aidé à savoir où visiter à proximité. Super café et bonne compagnie le matin avant mon départ. Resterait encore. Je le recommande sans hésiter.

    This gem is conveniently situated in a quiet area of Bentilee, Stoke-On-Trent. It lies between Longton and Hanley (main Stoke centre) and it is only 10-12 minutes' drive/bus ride to the main train station, Staffordshire University and Hanley town centre. The nearest bus stop is only about 50m away and there is a Lidl grocery shop only 6 minutes' walk away. FREE parking is available on the street and there's a pub only 150m away that sells good food and a gym nearby.
    The house is luxuriously decorated with newly decorated walls and floors. The space provides high speed BROADBAND and digital TV (Virgin Media). Bathroom has both bath tub and shower separate but in the same room. There is an additional downstairs toilet. The kitchen is beautifully decorated and equipped with a microwave, stove, oven, kettle, self-served breakfast, a washing machine and a dishwasher. The garden is well maintained and can be used by guests. There are garden chairs on the deck to make guests feel more at home.

    Our small but comfortable 1 bedroom cottage is situated at the edge of a village. It has spectacular views across the valley and is in easy reach of interesting places to visit such as Chatsworth House, Alton Towers and the Peak District.
    Situated on the edge of a village, at the end of a private lane you will find your holiday retreat. On the ground floor is the kitchen, a double bedroom and the bathroom. Up the stairs is the living room with views over the valley. The Wolery has all the modern conveniences that you need for a relaxing holiday.
    Situated at the edge of a village in the unspoilt and little know area that is the Staffordshire Moorlands. The Wolery is a comfortable walking distance from the local, well stocked village shop and 3 very good pubs, who are happy to welcome dogs. The Marquis of Granby and The Red Lion offer good choice menu and prices. The village is situated close to cycle paths nearby where there is safe cycling for miles. Also, locally there are fishing pools and clay pigeon shooting ranges should you wish to try countryside pursuits.

    Bijou guest house, in splendid isolation! Stay in our converted piggery, built out of local stone and set in lovely grounds on the edge of Ipstones. Set back from a narrow country road which is barely trafficed, you will feel the stresses of modern life slip away. The Piggery is decorated as a tiny house, complete with its own shower and toilet and warmed by underfloor heating. The Piggery is a great base for visits to Alton Towers, The Peak District, The Potteries and for outdoor pursuits.
    We are in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands, with walks into the Churnet valley on the door step. In September you can hear the resident stags rutting in the Churnet woods when the sun starts to set. You could walk down to Frogall by the canal and steam railway watching out for Kingfishers and with an ear open for woodpeckers. Hetty's tearoom is a lovely cafe/restaurant, recently opened in an old mill-building on the canal, which serves fabulous light snacks (the obligatory Staffordshire oatcake!) and a variety of cakes, including gluten free. We are 15 mins from the spectacular Roaches, with lovely walks of elevation, gritstone and heathers. (Stop off at The Lazy Trout in Meerbrook for excellent food). Ilam and Dovedale are highly recommended as a pretty but unique Staffordshire village with the famous stepping stones and flat topped hill.Our family lived there for generations, so Dad or I can probably bore the bones of you with Ilam knowledge! I'll leave it for you to ask... For cyclists the area is superb! There are many routes, challenging hill climbs and great training ground for serious competitors. For those after something more leisurely, try the Manifold Valley cycle track, through the cast scenery of the White Peaks. look out for Thor's Cave and sit by the river at the Manifold cafe with a refreshment. For gardeners I recommend a visit to Trentham Gardens, quite breathtaking planting in the restored gardens by Europe's finest designers (and also attractive cabin retail units). Locally, Consall Hall at the head of the Churnet Valley has beautiful landscaped gardens, splendid in Spring with the Rhodedendrons and Azalaes in flower. The iconic Chatsworth Hall is a lovely country drive away and for those looking for Instrusrial history, Stoke-on -Trent is the place for you! Gladstone Pottery is an excellent museum, I don't know anyone who hasn't been fascinated with a day there, or come home without having tried to throw a pot or paint a china flower! Emma Bridgewater, she of the spotty mugs, has breathed some life back into Stoke with her highly successful factory. It is worth a visit to the factory shop and the boho/Industrial cool cafe and decorating studio. After all that you will be so glad to sink onto the super comfy double bed or sip some wino on the patio, fire pit blazing and soak up the complete peace and quiet.
    Ipstones is a pretty village in the Staffordshire moorlands with a thriving community spirit. With three pubs, a shop and butchers to cater for your needs, friendly locals abound and frequent music nights (Sunday night acoustic night at The Sea Lion). The walking surrounding The Piggery is excellent - it is just off the Staffordshire Way, on the doorstep of Consall and Froghall Warf, which use the industrial heritage to great use with canal cafes and pubs and steam railway. The ale rail is a great way to enjoy what local beers and ciders are around with a trip on the train! f you don't want to think about cooking on your break we have two pubs which serve food in the village ( and one for people looking for a traditional local with a great range of whisky). They are 10 minutes walk down the country lane, so park up and potter down! I recommend The Marquis of Granby for a great meal at really good prices. it is popular round here though, so booking is necessary! There are a many other recommendations around, with Leek, Ashbourne , Cheadle and Buxton offering plenty for every palette.
