Introduction The house is a beautifully restored Georgian property originally built in 1690 with lovingly restored original features and all the benefits of modern technology and contemporary furnishings. Set in 1.5 acres of mature established gardens including a large terrace with heated seating area and a full size grass tennis court, there are 3.8 acres of paddock and apple orchards to be enjoyed. The house sleeps 8-22 people throughout the 8 bedrooms (a further 2 dressing rooms which can also sleep an additional 4 if needed making total occupancy maximum of 26 guests). It is not possible to have more than 26 people at the house, day or night as we have to limit village traffic and noise. This really is a luxurious country estate boasting a 12-foot swim spa/hot tub, games room with pool table, table tennis and bar billiards, a cinema with 16 cinema seats and a 3-metre wide screen, 100-foot master suite, exquisite bathrooms, two of which have spa baths, plus four reception rooms and broadband wireless internet in most areas of the house Ground Floor Entrance halls: There are two spacious entrance halls to meet and greet guests Sitting rooms: There are two sitting rooms with beautiful views over the courtyard and gardens Kitchen: Along with adjoining orangery forms the heart of this home, offering both a breakfast bar and full dining area. My place is good for families (with kids) and big groups. Please note our usual change over day is Friday. Orchard Barn & Anvil Cottage are a pair of adjoining 2 bedroomed barn conversions & sleeps a total of 10 guests, with ample space for everyone to get together & socialise in Orchard Barn around the large dining table or in front of the log burner. Outside the 7 seat Hot Tub is under an oak The 2 acre field has a mown area about the size of a tennis court for ball games.
Ideal for extended families, friends, re-unions and social get-togethers & with 2 night weekend breaks for up to 10 people (+ cot) from £895. If you are looking to book more than 12 months in advance, or for a short midweek break, please message us and we will send you a tailored quote (we don’t set our rates that far ahead)! We offer special midweek rates for charitable organisations either for corporate events or short breaks. When booking you are booking both cottages together (no need to make a separate booking for Anvil Cottage). Please note that Orchard Barn on its own sleeps 6 & Anvil Cottage 4 (which is included in the rate). We no longer let them out separately, so you will have exclusive use of the hot tub & recreational areas. Orchard Barn is the larger of the 2 barns & is 2 bedroomed (1 double & 1 twin) + a pair of single beds (75cm each) that can be zipped together to create a king sized bed downstairs (see layout in pic.2). This part of the barn sleeps 6 and has catering / dining facilities for up to 10 guests. The upstairs bathroom has a bath with shower over & a shower room downstairs all with under floor heating, contemporary fittings and fully tiled. Anvil Cottage is a luxury 2 bedroomed conversion (1 double & 1 bunk bed), it has a kitchen with breakfast table, separate lounge with 2 settee's & a log burner. The fully tiled contemporary bathroom upstairs has a shower over the bath & under floor heating. Both were completed in 2011 and new to the holiday rental market in 2013. Please note that whilst they are attached to each other, it is not possible to access the other without briefly going outside (just a few steps across the well lit, private paved area). Our guests tell us that this is ideal as it means that extended families have their own space, but there is ample room in Orchard Barn to socialise together.Many of our bookings have been for birthday parties, family get togethers and re-unions, with 2 night weekend breaks (Fri & Sat nights) for 10 guests from £895. We try to reserve the school holidays for slightly longer stays. Sited in the grounds of a 17th Century timber framed former farmhouse, the superb facilities include full under-floor heating powered by a Biomass Wood Chip Boiler & PV cells, lovely baths & showers, log burners (logs provided), Miele dishwasher & washing machines, washer/dryers. The 2 acre paddock is for you to play in. (Please note that this a field, not a garden, and we like to make hay from the grass, so at certain times of the year the grass will be too long to play games in, although we do maintain an area about the size of a tennis court for games and a path all around the perimeter). There are 37 inch Sony LCD TV's & blu-ray players in the lounges of both barns. Free Wi-Fi is available in both barns and there is ample private parking for at least 6 cars. Included within the price is all bedding, towels (min 2 each), Gas BBQ and in each barn there is a 'welcome starter pack' including some coffee, tea, sugar a pint of milk, washing up liquid, dishwasher & washing machine detergents, basket of logs for each wood burner, some toilet rolls & 1 or 2 local products for you to try when available. Being just 5 minutes from the A50 at Sudbury, we are situated on the outskirts of the village of Draycott-In-The-Clay on the very edge of the National Forest, with abundant beautiful woodland foot & bridle paths, 2 traditional pubs an Indian restaurant (who will deliver free) & a shop all in the village and just a few minutes easy walk away. We are within easy reach of the towns of Ashbourne, Burton upon Trent, Lichfield & Uttoxeter with all the attractions of the Peak District, Dovedale, Staffordshire Moorlands & Alton Towers on the doorstep. We have started to map our local walks on the Ordnance Survey App, which you can download for free and follow, or add to for future guests (search for OS Maps in your App store). Thanks for looking.

Our cosy and relaxing 3/4 bedroom barn conversion with exposed brick and original beams is the perfect base to explore Derbyshire and Staffordshire. We accept a minimum two night stay, but can negotiate ad hoc single night stays.
Our 18th century converted pig shed, cow shed and horse stable is the perfect place for families to relax in between exploring the delights of Derbyshire and Staffordshire. We offer two double bedrooms and a family bathroom with over bath shower on the first floor and a bedroom with king size bed with a connecting room with a double bed , dressing table, en suite shower room and walk in wardrobe on the ground floor. Our farmhouse kitchen has a modern range cooker and extendable dining table to comfortably seat eight, fridge freezer and dishwasher and a separate utility room with washing machine. Our living room has a solid fuel wood burner (wood is available to purchase via our honesty box), flat screen TV and DVD player. Separate WC and large coat cupboard. There is a patio and lawn area to enjoy if the weather allows. We can also provide a barbecue in the summer months. We have plenty of space to park right outside the door.
Burnaston is a hamlet more than a village, all be it a very pretty one, surrounded by farms and open spaces so amenities are either a walk or short drive away to either Etwall or Mickleover. Derby city centre is around six miles away. The Stables is located with easy access to the A38, A50 and M1 and is perfect for day trips to any of the following attractions: Alton Towers Drayton Manor & Thomas Land Peak District Matlock Bath Chatsworth House Ashbourne Stoke Potteries National Space Centre Peak wildlife park Donington Park racetrack National Forest Adventure Farm

Astuce: placez les pieds les plus lourds parmi vous dans les chambres du rez-de-chaussée car les planchers sont assez bruyants. Hôte très communicatif et serviable.

Je n'ai pas rencontré Fran personnellement, mais elle a été très rapide pour répondre à tous les messages et a également donné de bonnes recommandations pour les pubs locaux. Les écuries étaient très propres, élégantes et spacieuses (j'adore les planchers chauffants et le poêle à bois). Je n'hésiterais pas à y retourner et en fait proposé à mon partenaire pendant notre séjour ici - Merci d'avoir contribué à faire de cette ville de New York un moment inoubliable!

  • Une découverte fantastique. Ma famille et moi étions en visite à Thomasland au Manoir Drayton pour le 4e anniversaire de mon neveu. La maison était à 20 minutes du parc et un endroit parfait pour se détendre et jouer à des jeux dans notre temps libre. Nous avons été accueillis avec une excellente hospitalité. Si vous voulez un endroit local à Drayton Manor, au château de Tamworth ou même au centre-ville de Birmingham, mais un endroit tranquille, cet endroit est fait pour vous. Bonus chiens mignons!

    A stunning interior designed house on The Trusley Estate just a short drive from the Derbyshire Peak District. Relax in huge roll top baths with Penhaligon soaps and fluffy white company towels. Enjoy BBQs in the Summer and a cosy wood burner in the winter. From May-October the house has access to a tennis court. The nearest pubs (The Cow & The Horseshoes) are just a 35 minute walk and there is the Pub-Hop bicycle hire in Trusley village.
    The Old Courthouse has been recently refurbished to the highest standards. There are log fires, large roll top baths, stunning countryside views and a tennis court at the bottom of the garden. The house comprises of two double bedrooms and two twin rooms. Please see the floor plan (in the photos section) to get a better idea of the arrangement.
    Trusley is a quintessentially English village surrounded by beautiful open countryside and working farms. There are no shops but there are two pubs each about 35 minutes walk or a 20 minute bike ride with the Pub-Hop Cycles (see the Trusley Estate Website).

    Spacious room with single bed available for short or long terms stays. House is ideally located for Centrum 100, St Georges Park, and Burton Hospital There are bus stops on the road outside the property for access into the town centre. The railway station is approx 30 mins walk or a 7 min drive from the property long term let would be considered for this room. please contact me to discuss.
    The bedroom is a spacious room with a single bed. (With room for a double if required). There is storage space for clothes and a small desk if required. There is free wifi. Password to be supplied if the a booking is confirmed. The kitchen is fully furnished with all the items you would expect to find in the kitchen. Guest can cook or grab take aways There is a washing machine but guest supply any washing tablets. The bathroom is shared but guest can soak in a corner bath or have a shower if required. Towels are supplied. Guest can use the dinning room to eat all meals and if the host is not at home can use the living room to watch TV. (Check with the host) The heating is controled via Hive and the host has the thermastat set at a constant temperature. If the house is cold please mention this to the host and the heating will be set accordingly
    The property is located in a safe and quiet area of Burton. Approx 2 miles from St Georges Park and Centrum 100. There are local shops and pubs and eateries within walking and driving distance.

    Located centrally in the National Forest we are in a quiet and peaceful semi-rural position, on the edge of the Staffordshire, Derbyshire border, yet close to town. This is an ideal spot to explore the Derbyshire peaks, or for visiting any of Staffordshire's major tourist attractions (such as Alton Towers, the National Memorial Arboretum, and St Georges Park), and is ideal for ramblers, business travellers, and holidaymakers alike, however, connectivity could be difficult without own transport.
    We are a retired couple who offer a newly-furbished double room overlooking green space. The main bedroom price per night is for 1 or 2 person, with an extra £10 for each individual using the sofa bed. In addition you will be able to enjoy a PRIVATE bathroom, and sitting room, on the ground floor, with patio access to a secluded rear garden with water feature and decking for al fresco dining in summer. The sitting room has a bed settee which may be used for an additional 1 or 2 guests at £10 per person per night. This living room space is only available to guests renting the main bedroom, and has a TV/DVD. It also has a microwave and toaster, and a small fridge, and cutlery along with crockery to enable guests to prepare simple evening meals for themselves. The listing is for one guest, or two, sharing the double bedroom. In the event that a guest would be uncomfortable sharing the double bed, the sitting room sofa bed is available, at an extra £10. However, the sofa bed is more suitable for younger people. Tea and Coffee is available if required.
    Our semi-rural location means that we overlook countryside and yet are only a 20 minute walk into the centre of town. We are a stone's throw away from the river Trent which has beautiful riverside walks and countryside walks are also right on our doorstep. Canal walks and forestry centres and reservoir lakes are close by as is the National Memorial Arboretum. Day trips out are quite manageable to the Peak District National Park and also the Cotswolds.

    Lovely and quiet countryside studio for business or pleasure. Completely self contained with double bed, lounge area, dining table, bathroom and kitchen. Quiet hideaway with privacy for a single person or couple with its own off street entrance. Perfectly situated near major transport links including a railway station a 5 minute drive away. For convenience it is located a 5 minute drive from the village of Willington with shops, takeaways and 2 pubs.
    Update: due to the current situation the apartment is being thoroughly cleaned before every guest and the keys can be picked up and dropped off with no interaction required and the apartment itself is completely isolated on the first floor. Hi, we are a family living in this lovely village. The studio is modern with its own off street entrance. The studio is private and completely self contained with free WiFi and a TV with FreeSat in the small lounge area with a sofa and a small dining table. It has a separate shower room complete with essential toiletries like shower gel and shampoo in case you forgot to pack them as well as complimentary tea and coffee. If you need anything we’re only next door!
    It is a small village but very close to major roads such as the A38 and A50 and only 15 minutes into the centre of Derby. There are a range of shops 5 minutes away and there are takeaways that do deliver locally.

La chambre est spacieuse et comprend un lit confortable, un bureau et une grande salle de bains privative. La connexion Wi-fi était rapide et fiable. Avait l'utilisation de la cuisine pour la cuisine et des hôtes à portée de main ou peut être contacté si nécessaire quelque chose. Il y a une histoire intéressante à la maison seigneuriale d'à côté. Bel endroit pour rester, je le recommande.

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Victoria et sa famille. La chambre était propre et confortable, avec de belles vues depuis les fenêtres du grenier. Nous étions dehors pendant la journée à explorer la campagne et Victoria nous a gentiment conseillé des endroits à visiter lors de notre escapade de week-end à Londres. Merci encore Victoria.

  • Une belle maison faisant partie d'une rangée de maisons situées dans le parc d'une ancienne demeure seigneuriale. maintenant converti à un autre usage professionnel. La communication était très bonne avant la visite et Sat Nav m'a emmené directement là-bas et les hôtes ont été très obligeants, sachant que je serais en retard le premier soir. La chambre est en haut de la maison, il faut donc monter quelques marches, mais les hôtes étaient plus que disposés à aider avec n'importe quel bagage. La chambre est très soignée et présentable avec un lit double, une table et une lampe, un miroir et une chaise confortable et de nombreuses prises électriques. . Il y a une salle de bains avec baignoire et douche, toilettes et lavabo, tous étaient très propres et bien rangés. Le rideau de douche fait son travail, mais un peu délicat. La famille était très accueillante et détendue, permettant ainsi l’utilisation de la vaisselle, du réfrigérateur dans la cuisine et de la salle à manger. Attendez-vous à enlever vos chaussures à l'entrée et, à juste titre, cela protège leur nouveau tapis. Pour le stationnement des voitures, il est préférable de laisser ce qui est nécessaire et de se garer au coin de la rue où se trouve une maison de retraite. La deuxième nuit, ils ont gentiment déplacé une de leurs voitures, ce qui m'a permis de me garer devant la maison, car j'avais quelques objets lourds , Le quartier est très sûr et une belle vue, c'est environ 3/4 à un mile de la route principale. J'espère que je serai dans la région l'année prochaine et espère rester encore une fois. Un excellent hôte et hébergement.

    Detached house, garden, patio, conservatory, sitting room, dining room and kitchen. There are 2 bedrooms to rent with single beds shared family bathroom, toilet downstairs. I live in so am on hand if needed. Central to shops national trust walks restaurants skiing and cinema. Ample parking but due to work commitments may need discussions on this. A great place to chill in the sun trap garden which is well maintained and also 4 mile commute to M1 or Burton. My dogs are human friendly too.
    The house is an unusual design for a fairly new home and is the only one of its type on the estate called the corner house by locals, the inside also reflects this with some interesting features which create interesting conversations. There are plenty of rooms to use and privacy is always respected and the desire to socialize too. I work so am often absent but all rooms are available except the other bedrooms of course. Make the space your own and enjoy the lovely facilities that the area has to offer.
    Most people work so it's quite during the day full coverage security cameras are in operation.

Staff are using an excellent anti-viral disinfectant for all touch points and hard surfaces, along with another anti-viral treatment in a professional machine used on carpets and upholstery. An exceptional standard of fittings and finish in this converted listed mill on the outskirts of Burton on Trent. PLEASE NOTE THE APARTMENT HAS LOW ORIGINAL BEAMS AND ENTRANCE DUE TO THE BUILDING BEING SEVERAL HUNDRED YEARS OLD SO PLEASE MIND YOUR HEAD :) Great access to the A38, M1 and M6. Beautiful river views from the apartment windows, access to the private gardens on the Trent river, a secure, gated residence, private parking, countryside, a local pub and shops within walking distance, all make this stunning apartment the perfect space for a trip for business or pleasure. Access to the apartment is through the communal stairway (no lift available). There is a spacious modern bathroom with heated floor, heated towel rail, toilet, sink and large double shower. There is also free WiFi and a large flat screen TV with access to Netflix.
    Only a mile from Burton in Trent town centre, 2 miles from Newton Solney, 4 miles from Repton and a 20 minute drive to Derby. Birmingham City Centre is around 45 minute drive away or 30 minutes in the train from Burton on Trent.

Sachez qu'il y a des feux de croisement si vous êtes un peu plus grand, vous devrez peut-être vous pencher un peu dans certaines parties de l'appartement. Sinon, c'est charmant et a une belle finition.

    The house is located in Mickleover a lovely affluent area located on the west side of Derby. The house is an end fully detached house. It borders Mickleover Meadows, which is a nature reserve and large open field with lots of wildlife and foliage. Its truly beautiful in every season. It is a beautiful walk lasting around 90-120mins. Also this route is a national cycle route from here you can ride to a variety of locations.

La chambre est comme décrit, une bonne taille avec beaucoup d'espace suspendu pour les vêtements. La cuisine était bien équipée et une jolie aire extérieure est idéale pour manger dehors dehors une belle journée. J'ai passé un séjour fabuleux dans un quartier calme qui se trouve à une courte distance en voiture de la ville principale et à moins de 10 minutes de St George's Park. Merci Tony!

    Fittings and furnishings to a very high standard with large 60" flatscreen TV in lounge. Bedroom also contains a TV. A secure gated residence with safe private parking for two vehicles. Entrance and driveway must be left clear at all times. This place makes the perfect space for both business and pleasure.

    This is a spacious double room in my charming 400 year old cottage. Located at the heart of the Derbyshire Village of Etwall. 15 minutes by car will get you to the centre of Derby or Burton upon Trent. It’s also a great location for those travelling further afield by way of the A38 or A50, both just a couple of minutes away.
    Narnia Cottage is old, possibly Elizabethan, but has been recently renovated so it retains many of the original features such as oak beams, sash windows and an open fireplace while having modern conveniences in the form of central heating, double glazing and WiFi.
    There’s a great community spirit in the village and the well dressing festival takes place every year in May. Narnia Cottage is right next door to the Blenheim House Hotel where you can have a full English breakfast for £10. (You just need to let me know when you book.) There are two lovely local pubs within a couple of minutes walk, as is the One Stop shop, open ‘til 8pm, the Chinese take away, chip shop and post office. About 5 minutes walk is enough to reach the local Pharmacy, excellent Balti house take away or the Seven Wells public house. If you’re a walker or a cyclist the North Greenway, route 68 & 54, is about 3 minutes walk from Narnia Cottage.

    The area is rich in local heritage, including major National Trust Properties (Sudbury Hall, Kedleston and Calke Abbey all within a 15 minute drive).     My home is close to the A50,A38 and 10 minutes away from the Royal Hospital. There is a National cycle track on our doorstep and we are within walking distance to local amenities with a regular bus service to Derby city centre. You'll love my place because of the warm comfortable homely feel. My place is good for solo adventurers, business travellers and professionals

Tout est propre y compris salle de bain / douche. Ms.Steph et son fils sont super gentils et gentils, j'ai aimé discuter avec eux et jouer à PS4 avec son fils. Ils m'ont toujours laissé sentir que je vivais dans une famille chaleureuse et confortable. Je viendrai certainement les voir si je reviens à Derby.

  • Rester chez Steph est beaucoup plus qu’un logement. Pendant 4 mois que je suis resté là-bas, je me suis senti comme chez moi. Elle et son mari ont pris soin de toutes les choses pour me fournir un excellent séjour tous les jours. Certainement, je n'aurais pas pu trouver un meilleur endroit pour rester. Si je reviens à Derby dans le futur, j'y reviendrais certainement.

Avec une belle piste cyclable, un accès facile aux bus, et de nombreux magasins et pubs à proximité, j'avais tout ce dont j'avais besoin à un jet de pierre de la maison, niché dans un quartier agréable, sans crime ni vacarme urbain. Après avoir pris une douche chaude le matin, j’ai apprécié les crumpets et le thé, ainsi qu’une bonne conversation et un lit confortable le soir. Je reviendrais chez Steph et sa famille chaque fois que je visiterais Derby!

    The Coach house is a self contained apartment within a village setting. However it is situated only 5 mins away from the M42 and good road links to all Midlands towns and cities. Netherseal is within The National Forest which allows access to numerous interesting country walks. There are also many attractions close some of them being Calke Abbey, The National Forest, Staunton Harold and Moira Furnace. We provide a welcome pack with fresh bread, milk, juice, cereal selection, eggs and preserves.
    The Coach House is part of an old premises built in the 1800’s. It has recently been renovated keeping many of it’s original features. It is attached to our cottage but has its own private access.The Coach house is set within a large garden area both where we have a vegetable plot, chickens and a flower garden . Netherseal is a small village community with a church, village hall, public house” The Seal”, shop, post office and sports club all close to many amenities in neighbouring villages.
    Netherseal is the southernmost village in Derbyshire which allows for easy access to Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Leicestershire. It is close to the M42 and A444 again making it easy to reach places such as th NIA. and NEC. in Birmingham. The picturesque village is part of a conservation area and has many listed buildings. The grave of Sir Nigel Gresley can be found in St Peters Church cemetry. Nigel Gresley lived for many years in the village. He was an engineer who designed the locomotive, The Mallard. The Mallard set the world speed record when it achieved 126 mph for a few seconds in 1938. Netherseal resides amongst the area of The National Forest and The National Forest Way can be accessed fom the village itself.

    This is a private fully detached house for you to come and enjoy. You can relax knowing your not living in my house; you’re living in your home for as long as you would like to stay. We have 4 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The entire house has been recently renovated. Your room plus all communal areas are accessible at all times and you can come and go freely. There is a drive and on street parking. If you need any help feel free to ask any questions. Look forward to meeting you.
    The house comes with Internet and is located on a friendly street 10mins away from town, 5mins from Royal Derby Hospital, 12mins from Derby train station and 22mins from East Midlands Airport. With good driving networks in and out of Derby. We have a front drive with parking space for up to 2-3 vehicles (On street parking also.). We are also in a perfect location for networks to Ashbourne and the Peak District National Park. The house is also perfectly located for cycle routes to various locations.
    The house is located in Mickleover a lovely affluent area located on the west side of Derby. The house is an end fully detached house. It borders Mickleover Meadows, which is a nature reserve and large open field with lots of wildlife and foliage. Its truly beautiful in every season. It is a beautiful walk lasting around 90-120mins. Also this route is a national cycle route from here you can ride to a variety of locations.

    Detached house, garden, patio, conservatory, sitting room, dining room and kitchen. There are 2 bedrooms to rent with single beds shared family bathroom, toilet downstairs. I live in so am on hand if needed. Central to shops national trust walks restaurants skiing and cinema. Ample parking but due to work commitments may need discussions on this. A great place to chill in the sun trap garden which is well maintained and also 4 mile commute to M1 or Burton. My dogs are human friendly too.
    The house is an unusual design for a fairly new home and is the only one of its type on the estate called the corner house by locals, the inside also reflects this with some interesting features which create interesting conversations. There are plenty of rooms to use and privacy is always respected and the desire to socialize too. I work so am often absent but all rooms are available except the other bedrooms of course. Make the space your own and enjoy the lovely facilities that the area has to offer.
    Most people work so it's quite during the day full coverage security cameras are in operation.
