Divertissement général
“Mill No. 5 is one of the must-see attractions in Lowell. Both floors four and five of the mill are open every day of the week. The main hallways are designed as to look like a marketplace straight from a fairy tale. The Mill offers the most wonderful array of cozy, incredibly varied shops and stops. On Saturdays, local businesses and entrepreneurs such as bakers, artists, and many others offer their own handmade and fantastic goods. You can enjoy a homey coffee house with live music, pick from a large selection of vinyl records, and even pick from many Massachusetts-made goods. In the evenings, the Luna Theater offers a wonderful array of independent and classic films.”

“Lowell has a rich history of the first planned industrial city in the US and it maintains miles of canals and walkways along with restored mill buildings. It is also the birthplace of Jack Kerouac. There are a few museums and exhibits worth checking out in the city. ”

“Lowell, which is only a short, 15 minute drive, has many museums, a cool canal and trolly tour, and it is home of Mill 5, a removated mill mall with a cool hipster vibe . It is also home of The Luna Theater where you can see movies you wont find anywhere else! I perform stand up there sometimes on "Mondo Mondays".”

Baseball Stadium
“This park opened in 1998 and is home to the Lowell Spinners, an affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. The stadium can seat 5,000 people and was built as a replacement for the Alumni Field, which occupied the site prior to LeLacheur Park. The seating of the park is raised above the field so all viewers can easily see the play by plays, while a large scoreboard sits in left field.”

Parc
“The Lowell National Park tour offers visitors an in-depth look into the past that brought the 19th century textile industry to tap the waterpower of the Merrimack River while also revealing cultural connections to the present and visions for the future. Experience the roar of the power looms in the Boott Cotton Mills Museum, glimpse the social lives of millworkers at the Mill Girls & Immigrants Exhibit, and see how industrialization changed the Merrimack River at the brand new River Transformed Exhibit.”
