“Beautiful gardens with gorgeous year-round seasonal displays. The summer fountain shows with music in the evenings are delightful and the Christmas displays are spectacular. The Conservatory has a charming indoor children's garden with hands-on activities. Recent additions include a beer garden. ”

Parc
“While there were no battles fought in Valley Forge, the time the Continental Army spent here went down as one of their most trying periods. Exhibits, artifacts, replicated huts and the original headquarters tell the story of the pivotal winter that George Washington and his troops endured at the site.”

Over 2,600 acres, so pick out a the route of your choice and hike to your heart's content. Check out the cool old mansion in the middle, too!”

State / Provincial Park
“Marsh Creek State Park is in the rolling hills of north central Chester County. The 1,727-acre park contains the 535-acre Marsh Creek Lake, which is a wonderful resource for fishing, sailing, and migrating waterfowl. The lake can be accessed from either side, both are a 30 minute drive from the cottage, with boat and kayak rentals available at the eastern boat launch & lot. The park has a decent amount of multi-use trails, great for both hiking and mountain biking.”

Trail
“My favorite trail to hike is called the Skippack Loop Trail. Nice trail loop that goes in a big circle around both sides of the creek. About 4.6-5 miles. 1% Avg Grade (1°) 10% Max Grade (6°) . Every time I go there it looks different. ”
