“"Serving as New Orleans' largest outdoor attraction since 1854, City Park is one of the oldest parks in the country. With its iconic oak trees and picturesque moss canopies, this 1,300 acre green space brings in millions of visitors each year. People come from near and far to enjoy the beautiful trails and scenery, as well as the endless amount of vendors, museums and activities within the park itself. With multiple themed gardens, biking and walking paths, live concerts, an amusement park and the World's largest grove of mature live oak trees, City Park has something for everyone!"”

“City Park is as magical and unique as the city of New Orleans. The 1,300-acre outdoor oasis has enchanted New Orleanians since 1854, making it one of the nation’s oldest urban parks. Each year, millions of visitors stroll under the same historic oaks and picturesque moss canopies that served as the backdrop for dances, concerts and even gentlemanly duels or “affaires d’honneur” for generations.Today’s City Park offers something for everyone. Stop and smell the roses in the Botanical Garden. Enjoy art in the open-air Besthoff Sculpture Garden. Stroll through the sprawling green space or get active on the park’s biking, jogging, and walking paths. Practice your serve on one of 26 tennis courts”

“Vietnamese/Cajun fusion restaurant. Their veggie pho is best anywhere. Never a bad meal, all of the concoctions are mouth-watering. Ask about their specials, they are made with locally-sourced in-season items. On Saturdays, they roast a full pig and make entrees with it. You HAVE to try the Chicken Wings Appetizer, you will lick the plate clean. Bubble Tea cocktails (with/without alcohol) and other drinks (my favorite is the Dragon Lady).”
