Quartier
“The Gaslamp district in San Diego's beautiful downtown area is a must see! The streets are lined with shops, and people dining al fresco! You can find nightlife, live music, comedy, PETCO Park, Amtrak and Trolley stations, as well as the Port of San Diego, and Seaport Village! The possibilities are endless!”

Baseball Stadium
“Located just a stone’s throw away from the Gaslamp Quarter is Petco Park, home of the Padres; San Diego’s Major League Baseball team. Whether you’re a baseball fan or not; Petco Park is worth a visit. Grab a pair of $10 tickets and take in the game from the beach behind center field. Yes we meant to say beach. An area full of sand and bleacher seats may not be the most conventional way to watch nine innings, but where else can you watch an MLB game while sitting on the sand? Petco Park is also known for its amazing behind the scenes tour where you will have access to the press box, dugout, the bullpen, the luxury suites and so much more. Tours run all year around, even on games days and we highly recommend putting this on the top of your list. Cheer on the Padres from the beach or the stands and take in the sights of downtown San Diego.”

“Besides boasting the very famous Hotel Del Coronado where the famous Marilyn Monroe movie “Some Like it Hot” was filmed; Coronado Island also has incredible beaches, unique shops and beautiful sights. Drive or take the ferry from the city and discover bliss. Sink your feet into the sand on the beach outside the Hotel Del Coronado and be lucky enough to catch the Sandcastle Man who has been building castles along this beach for over thirty years. Take a stroll along the pier with an ice cream cone and talk to the utmost friendly people who are always willing to share a story about the town. This is a quaint town filled with shops, galleries and restaurants. Take a break from the bustling city of San Diego and discover paradise.”

“This is a real, beachy beach on Coronado Island and the dog beach is right next to the Navy base. There are real waves here. Parking can be tricky on busy days, you may need to walk some blocks to the beach, but it's worth it. This beach does have an area to rinse off near the street.”

Lounge
“At 22 stories, ALTITUDE is the highest open-air rooftop bar in the area, which means you’ll have better views of the city here than anywhere else. In addition to the bird’s eve view of the city, ALTITUDE’s location next to Petco Park also means you can catch a free ball game, which -- given how godawful the Padres are -- is the perfect price. The bar rarely has a cover, but it does have a dress code, so don’t show up dressed like you just rolled out of bed and you should be good.”

Restaurant de tacos
“Voted the best tacos in SD year over year. Good news is the tacos are worth the hype. Bad news is everyone knows it now. So there's a line to order at the counter. Try to go at off hours and get in without a wait if you can. ”
