“Red Rock Canyon Open Space is a 1,474-acre city park located between Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. With 11 marked trails in Red Rock Canyon Open Space ranging from 1.7 to 5.4 miles and from 6,141 to 6,866 feet above sea level. This is a easy hike but so very beautiful. The picture is of me and my sister the last time she came out.”

Waterfall
“Located less than one mile from The Broadmoor, Seven Falls is one of Colorado’s most captivating natural wonders. This magnificent series of waterfalls is situated in a 1,250-foot-wall box canyon between the towering Pillars of Hercules. Take in stunning vistas of verdant valleys, striking rock formations and golden prairies as you climb the challenging 224 steps to the hiking trails and the banks of glistening streams that feed Seven Falls, and its 181-foot drop of falling water. If you’re looking for unforgettable sightseeing in Colorado Springs, this is it!”

Parc
“One of nature's wonders, it's a must see while in Colorado Springs. We highly recommend going by bike or vintage scooter as parking is a challenge during the Summer months. You can rent a low-power scooter from Vintage Scooter Adventures which is located at The Garden of the Gods Trading Post, 324 Beckers Lane, Manitou Springs, CO. Fun times, great rates, wonderful experience all around. Highly recommend!”

Playground
“Not for the faint of heart. 3.6 miles and 1,900 for elevation gain. It's a hard work out but a lot of fun if you can handle the change in elevation. Take Barr trail down the back side of the mountain, it's not nearly as steep.”

Parc
“The south-west area of Colorado Springs offers lots of hiking options. Seven Bridges is a beautiful 3-mile round-trip hike that crosses a canyon stream, you guessed it, seven times. Mount Cutler is a short and steep 2-mile hike to a rewarding overlook of the area. Check out Helen Hunt Falls if you are in the area and stop at Ivywild for a cold drink or a bite to eat.”

Parc
“About 15 minutes east of the home down 105 to roller coaster road. Fox Run Park is wonderful for taking a walk through the woods. Many CMT trees (Culturally Modified Trees) which are also called "Prayer Trees". See John Anderson's book which highlights trees from this special park. FREE, great for children since moderate to flat trails. Restrooms are available and picnic tables.”

“Pizza Restaurant • $$ • 4.5 star rating • 22 minute drive ——————————————————— WARNING It’s not everyone’s specialty, but this pizza is thin-crust and pizzas come in only one size. Although it’s thin, it’s packed with yummy flavors.”

Parcours pour chiens
“A large 25 acre off-leash dog park perfect for letting you pups run wild! Pro-tip: bring a towel for your dog to lay on in the car as it's very easy for them to get dirty! Also, there is a section of the park dedicated for smaller sized dogs if you're nervous about other dogs bullying your small dog ”
