Galerie d'art
“This is probably the best museum of the lot. Its a beautiful building first of all. Inside the main entrance hall is a huge gorgeous ornate organ which is played reguarly. It has all types of art, the highlight for me being the Salvador Dali & Van Gogh paintings. All of the museums in Glasgow are free entry”

Cimetière
“The necropolis is an old Victorian cemetery opened in 1833. Perched on the top of a hill beside St Mungo's Cathedral, the necropolis bridges the gap between the centre and East end. It's a great place to go and feel like the king of the world looking out over the whole of Glasgow. I highly recommend as a place to catch a sunset, it's steeped in history. Also, it's really close to Drygate brewery and Tennants where you can head afterwards for a pint of nice Scottish beer! At night the gates are closed to the main bridge but you just head down the hill on John Knox Street and opposite Cathedral house you can access the path if you skip a fence. On bonfire night - crowds gather in the old graveyard to watch the night light up with fireworks. ”

Église
“This cathedral is Glasgow’s most significant historic building, also known as St. Mungo Cathedral or high kirk of Glasgow. The grandest room in the cathedral is the crypt housing, the tomb of St. Mungo who was buried there in AD 603. Next door is the St. Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art, which examines the world religions, their rites and how they dealt with issues of life and death. The exhibits include Egyptian mummies, Hindu statues and a Xen Buddhist garden in the courtyard Location- castle street ”

“To get to SECC Glasgow, you can walk for about 10-12 minutes (0.7miles) to Argyle Scotrail Station from where you can take the train to Exhibition Centre (5 min, 3 stops), then walk for about 9minutes (0.5 miles) to SEC Centre. Getting back we recommend you to take the same route or travel by train from: Exhibition Centre Station to Bridgeton Railway Station, from where you can take bus service SimpliCITY18 towards City Centre, hop off at Green Street Bus Stop (3 stops, 2 minutes journey) from where you will walk about 2 minutes to get back to the property. This route can be used to avoid walking. Same route to get to SECC (opposite direction!). ”
