“The best place to go for pretty much all water rides in one place! Perfect for hot sunny days! The entire family will absolutely LOVE it here! Located near Busch Gardens Amusement Park in Williamsburg, about a two hour and fifteen minutes drive from Sara's Charm in Locust Grove. Season passes available.”

“Great place to visit the 1700's - preserved village with original buildings, homes, taverns, etc. It all comes alive with real activities and people dressed in period costumes.”

Centre commercial
“The best of both worlds: Merchants Square with its cobble stone walkways for gift shopping (esp nice at Christmas) food & wine specialties, dining, music, street entertainment. And a walk across the street takes you back in time as you walk the dirt road toward the ice-skating rink with bonfires set up to stop and get warm and chat up with the passersby. ”

“The Governor's Palace in Williamsburg, Virginia was the official residence of the Royal Governors of the Colony of Virginia. Beautifully restored and a fantastic place to spend Independence Day! The actors were superb and did a great job educating the patrons. The gardens and maze were immaculate and truly felt like a step back in time. ”

“Great pizza for one, they have other specialty sandwiches and fresh local faire. medium on the price but you will not go away hungry. From March to Oct Thursdays and Fridays may have Live music. Can be loud and hard to have a discussion even when there is no music. Very popular local eatery. Best tap beer selection in the area with about 15 beers on tap.”

Point of Interest
“If you don't want to make the drive to Virginia Beach (roughly a 1 hr 30 min drive), you can make your way to Yorktown Beach! This 2-acre beachfront provides boating, swimming, and fishing fun on the York river. There are cute, cozy shops around the "beach" as well. Plenty of parking and a garage on "the hill" in town within walking distance. ”
