History Museum
“And an art nouveau masterpiece that is home to the Musical Instrument Museum of Brussels (MIM). Rue Montagne de la Cour 2, 1000 BruxellesThis museum is totally worth a visit and one of the top things to do in Brussels for music lovers . On display here are truly unique instruments that are exquisite pieces of art in their own right (my faves are the ornately decorated pianos that are adorned with beautiful etchings and paintings of all kinds). Here you can explore more than 2,000 instruments, but the best you can also listen to them! After that you may feel a little hungry. A problem that is easy to fix since the MIM restaurant is located on the tenth floor of the building. Tip: The restaurant is accessible free! From this restaurant you have a breathtaking view of Brussels. Unfortunately, it is often overcrowded - but if you are lucky you can enjoy a delicious Sunday, brunch buffet here. Should it be too crowded the Kwint could be a very good alternative.”

“The Palace of Justice (French: Palais de Justice) or Law Courts of Brussels is the most important court building in Belgium and the largest courthouse in the world. It was built between 1866 and 1883 in the eclectic style by the celebrated architect Joseph Poelaert. The total cost of the construction, land and furnishings was somewhere in the region of 45 million Belgian francs. It is reputed to be the largest building constructed in the 19th century. It is a notable landmark of Brussels.”

“The Royal Palace is where the King of Belgium exercises his authority as Head of State and is the official palace of the King and Queen of Belgium. It also houses rooms for the country’s special guests, most of which are Heads of State and the offices of certain ministries. It's a tradition: every summer, the Royal Palace opens its doors to the public.”

“High class night club in a church. Dress nicely to make it inside , preferably no sneakers or jeans for guys. Be ready to be surrounded by young expats who think they're more important than anybody else. However, it is really an impressive club.”

“Brussels has been built on hills which creates some stunning views. On Art Mount you will find a bunch of musea such as the Magritte museum (surrealist art), the Bellevue Museum (historical) and of course the MIM (Musical Instruments Museum). You can take the elevator to the upper floor without having to visit the actual museum, and enjoy the stunning view of Brussels! Besides that it is also one of the most imprtant art nouveau buildings in town. While walking down towards the city center you will still be able to have some last views over the stunning center ...”
