“Menai Bridge - LL59 5EY - 01248 716714 With sister restaurants in both Cricceth and Llandudno, these guys are taking North Wales by storm! Their unique Anglesey venue overlooks the Straits – and all three have gorgeous seaside themed décor. Their ethos is to celebrate the local produce, character & natural beauty of the area – and they do so to perfection! Specialising in homemade pizzas - as well as seafood and locally sourced meat – this place has fabulous sea-views, sells its own products (including sauces, luxury hampers, clothing & Welsh slate ‘boards’ etc) - and has lots of ‘foodie’ events going on throughout the year – including bread, baking & pizza making workshops, wine, gin & whisky nights – as well as food & film evenings – so check their website for details! Open from lunch until late every day of the week – but out of season it’s safer to ring ahead! Booking is advisable during weekends and busy periods. ”

“Rhoscolyn - LL65 2NJ - 01407 740317 Open for coffee, lunch, nibbles, supper & drinks - from 12pm daily - with food-orders until 9pm, and normal pub hours usually applying otherwise. Gorgeous sea views, stylish, with an open fire in winter – you can’t really go wrong with the popular White Eagle! Dogs are allowed inside in their ‘snug’ area - and outside on the decking. It’s family friendly, has a beer-garden - and there are wonderful walking opportunities in the area too! Rhoscolyn’s main beach is just down the lane – so it’s perfect for some ‘après sea’. Lots of their meals include local produce – e.g. fresh seafood & welsh lamb/beef. They also host events throughout the year – so keep an eye on their website/Facebook pages! During school holidays, at weekends and on special occasions, if you want to eat there we’d recommend booking in advance – the same goes for larger groups! They’re used to muddy/sandy boots/paws - but it’s also a lovely place to go for a special evening-out. ”

“Beaumaris - LL58 8AP - 01248 810329 Here you can choose between the informal ‘Brasserie’ downstairs (in the shape of a tasteful ‘traditional’ bar), or upstairs their elegant ‘fine dining’ restaurant called ‘The Loft’ (a wooden conservatory space). Housed in a 400-year-old building, this place provides a superb mix of traditional and modern dining. With its roaring fires, cask ales, tartan carpets & dark woodwork downstairs - and light & airy feel upstairs - this well-known watering hole - right in the centre of beautiful Beaumaris - provides both a cosy, yet contemporary dining-out experience. With ‘The Loft’ menus put together by award-winning chef, Hefin Roberts, you’ll never be disappointed! Known for using locally sourced ingredients & produce in imaginative ways, his unique combinations are just delicious! Please check their website for opening times. ”

“Trearddur Bay - LL65 2YU - 01407 860348 Serves drinks, lunch & supper – and breakfast too. With its stylish seaside décor, and sunny outdoor seating area, it’s long been a local favourite. Being located on Ravens Point Road (although there are no sea-views) means it’s close to Trearddur’s smaller beaches; pretty Porth Diana & Porth Castell. During busy periods we’d recommend booking in advance; the same goes for larger groups. Very popular with the sailing crowd. They often have 2-for-1 offers out of season – so keep an eye out! Specialises in local produce, seafood & homemade pizza – with loads more besides. Breakfast: Some Saturdays & Sundays 8am - 11am. Food times: Monday - Thursday: 12pm - 2:30pm & 5pm - 9pm, Friday: 12pm - 2:30pm & 5 - 9:30pm, Saturday: 12pm - 9:30pm, Sunday: 12pm - 9pm. Bar: Daily 11am to 11pm. They welcome dogs! ”

“Neaumaris - LL58 8BB - 01248 810429 The Midland, with its chic and understated decor (which has breathed new life into this beautiful old ban (hence the name) has proved VERY popular since its opening! The only downside is the sheer variety on the menu - which leaves you struggling to know which options to go for! True to its Spanish roots though, there are things like Jamon Iberico & Patatas Bravas - but they’ve cleverly managed to mix these up with Welsh recipes - as well as seafood, and ‘garden’ flavours; which makes the whole experience so much more interesting and varied! As with all the best Anglesey eateries, there’s an emphasis on local produce - especially on seafood - and it’s loads of fun getting to try lots of different dishes! So, if you like mixing & matching your meals - this is the place for you! Open in winter (from November until the end of March) from Wednesday to Sunday, 12pm-3pm, then again from 5pm – until last orders (but closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Open in Summer (from Easter to November)7 days a week, from 12pm – until last orders. Glutenfree, vegetarian and vegan options available. ”
