“otaru Otaru is a town next to Sapporo. You can easily visit by train or bus and enjoy day trips. The city is famous for the Otaru Canal, music boxes, glass, sushi, seafood bowls, and more. There are many historical Western-style buildings, and there are many attractions such as the Otaru Aquarium, Nishin-Palace and Temiya Cave. In winter, there is an event called Otaru Yukiakari no miti(Snow Light Road.) ”

Drugstore
“Sapporo Drug Store - Located at Hirafu 188 stocks a wide range of supplies you might need while on your holiday. Think toiletries, snacks, fresh fruit and vegetables, frozen meals, as well as any medicines that you may need during your holiday. They even sell international foods like Tim Tams and cheeses from abroad!”

“Hanayoshi - Quite possibly the best sushi ever in the surrounding 100km. This place books out weeks in advance, so the trick is to go 5:45pm, be courteous to the sushi chef, decide what you want outside and write it down and pass it to them. Keep it low key and they will help you. Head to the onsen by the train station, grab a beer there, come back and pick it up in 45 mins and head home with your feast.”
