Marché fermier
“The coolest thing Ithaca has to offer is the local farmers market which happens every weekend. If you are in Ithaca on over Saturday/Sunday and the weather is nice, this market is a *must see*. You can shop for some fresh groceries, flowers, art/souvenirs, kitchenware, and more, then order some brunch and retire to the lake front to relax in the sun.”

Restaurant à tapas
“My personal favorite restaurant in Ithaca. Just a Taste is a Tapas (multiple, small plates) restaurant that always seems to impress. A great place for a couple or small group, you can peruse the menu and order a flight of wine, a few different appetizers, entrees, and desserts, and get a taste of what the Ithaca food and drink scene has to offer. Just a Taste is located on Ithaca's central culinary street, next to The Commons.”

Nouvelle cuisine américaine
“This is our go-to local neighborhood joint - rather on the nice side. You can get the usual pub fare, but also "the incredible burger" (vegetarian) and mushroom ravioli. In the summer, the outdoor patio is open. ”

“Maxie's offers a classier option for dinner, with a raw oyster bar and a full Cajun menu loaded with options. The menu features killer po'boy sandwiches and a Tuesday night fried chicken special, plus a full cocktail bar. Live music some nights, but not usually on Tuesdays.”
