“Coming all the way to the Pacific Northwest without seeing the Hoh Rainforest? It is located on the Olympic Peninsula and is one of the largest temperate rainforests in the U.S. Within Olympic National Park, the forest is protected from commercial exploitation.”

“This is one of our favorite spots and only about 20 minutes away. Great to explore the beach and enjoy breathtaking ocean views. When the waves are high its a popular spot for surfing. On calmer days, it's a fun place to take kids and explore tidepools and bring a picnic.”

“If you're down on the Pacific Coast by Ruby Beach and the Hoh Rain Forest turn-off, consider stopping at the Kalaloch Lodge for lunch or dinner. Open year-round and a very scenic walk to the beach. You can also see the Tree of Life at the Kalaloch Campground just a minute down the road.”

Waterfall
“this is my most favorite walking trail. it's not long, very well maintained and has a very beautiful waterfall at the end. you'll have access to a small beach before you cross a couple of neat small bridges and climb a fairly steep set of stairs at the very end to see the fall. the trail is a loop if you want to keep going up stairs for a more sweeping view or you can walk back the way you came. ”

Waterfall
“There are lots of waterfalls in this corner of the U.S. but this is one of my favorites. Enjoy the hike through the rain forest and cross the old wooden bridge over the falls. Again, you're going to want your camera, the falls are stunning.”
