“The Old Navy Training Center has a short 9 holes golf course, beautiful parks and views as well as great eating. They have a Public Market with a variety of different foods including our favorite restaurant Buona Forchetta. It is a super authentic Italian restaurant with a great weekday lunch special. There is also Slater's 50/50 for GREAT burgers and The Corvette Dinner is fun for kids! There is also local brewery with outdoor Bocce Ball called Stone Brewery that has great beer and food.”

“Another great Italian restaurant worth the drive to Liberty Station. They make their own pasta and delicious sauces. Pizzas are made quickly in a 900 degree oven. Their beet salad is one of my favorites as well as their pesto sauce with fresh pasta. There's also a great outdoor area nearby. ”
